“Ryker, Lex is the real deal, a true female, not a female bot at all,” Austin said.

“Look, the mecha Dory sent me this data. And I asked Arthur myself, Lex really is a female, not a bot.

“As for why she’s not afraid of the Clyssia Virus, once we meet Arthur, I’m sure he’ll have a good explanation,” Austin continued.

Ryker took the data Austin handed him. As he read through it, he was so stunned he couldn’t even speak.

“Marshal, is this… is this really true?” Ryker stammered.

“It’s true. Ryker, I need to tell you some bad news right now,” Austin said, his tone serious.

“Bad news?” Ryker blurted out.

Ryker gripped the data even tighter, confusion swirling in his mind as he stared at Austin.

“Lex is missing. It’s very likely the Crown Prince of the Aetherion Federation, Nelson, is the one behind it,” Austin said, his tone grim.

“Marshal, what did you say? Lex is gone?” Ryker blurted out, his voice trembling with shock.

Ryker’s happiness from the good news was wiped out in a heartbeat when he learned Lexie had disappeared. The smile on his face vanished instantly.

“Marshal, what happened? How could Lex just go missing? Wasn’t she with Dr. Cole? How could she just vanish like that?” Ryker asked, panic rising in his voice.

Seeing how anxious Ryker was, Austin had to force down his own anger and worry, speaking to him in a gentle tone.

“Ryker, it’s very likely that Nelson, the Crown Prince of the Aetherion Federation, has figured out Lex’s true identity.

“He’s already sent troops to search for her. For Lex’s safety, we need to distract him with something else.

“Using Amya, that bionic human, is the best way for our Aetherion Empire to stir up trouble with the Aetherion Federation.

“Ryker, we’ll use Amya to keep the Aetherion Federation occupied.

“Once chaos erupts between the empire and the Federation, knowing Nelson, he’ll definitely rush back to the Federation to take command himself.

“That’s when I’ll seize the chance to track Lex down as fast as I can. I have to get her out safely before they get to her.

“Remember, even if war really breaks out between the empire and the Federation, our top priority is still to bring Lex back safe and sound.

“No matter what happens, we can’t let Lex fall into Nelson’s hands. Got it?”

Ryker still looked worried after hearing Austin’s plan.

“But Marshal, we have no idea where Lex is. Where are we even supposed to start looking for her?” Ryker pressed, anxiety

clear in his voice.

“My Optic Brain is synced up with Dory. I just sent her a connection request,” Austin replied.

“Once Dory’s able to get in touch, she’ll let me know where she is.

“If I can track down Dory, that means I’ll be able to find Lex too.

“Ryker, you know how much Lex means, not just to the empire, but to me.

“So for her safety, I have to bring her back as soon as possible.

“But once I leave, I’ll be counting on you all to handle things in the empire,” Austin continued.

“Don’t worry, Marshal. I’ve been by your side for years, you know what I can do,” Ryker said, his voice steady.

“I’ll make sure everything in the empire stays on track. You go find Lex, and leave the rest to me.

“Just promise me you’ll find Lex soon and bring her back safe and sound,” Ryker continued.

“I swear, Ryker, I’ll bring Lex back safe and sound, no matter what,” Austin said, his voice unwavering.

After swiftly making all the necessary arrangements, Austin took a handful of his most trusted aides and sped off in a warship toward the spot where Lexie had vanished.

He was determined to find Lexie before the Aetherion Federation did, and get her out of there as quickly as possible.

Just thinking about finally seeing Lexie again, Austin couldn’t help but feel a surge of joy.

Inside the cave on Aeris Planet, Lexie’s appetite had gotten seriously weird these past few days.

She’d always been a big eater, way more than any normal beastman. Most folks could fill up on just one bottle of high–grade nutrient fluid, but Lexie? She could easily put away ten or more bottles in one sitting and still not feel full.

She thought her appetite was already massive, but being trapped in this cave had made her even hungrier than ever.

Just for breakfast, she’d scarfed down over fifty bottles of nutrient fluid. But even after all that, she only felt hungrier with every bite.

Lexie rubbed her growling stomach, looking at the empty bottles in her hands.

Honestly, she was still starving, so hungry it was almost painful.

But Dory and Ares were already warning her to stop eating.

“Master, you really can’t keep eating like this. You’ve already put away more nutrient fluid this morning than most people go through in an entire month.

“If you keep it up, what if your body can’t even process it all?” Dory warned.

“But Dory, I’m so hungry it actually hurts. Can you check me out? Maybe there’s something wrong with me, otherwise, why am I eating like a bottomless pit?” Lexie said; her voice full of desperation.

Hearing Lexie’s plea, Dory anxiously ran another scan on her body.

But according to the results, there was absolutely nothing wrong with Lexie.

“Lex, your body isn’t showing any problems at all. Of course, there is still a ward someone placed on you, anything inside it,

I just can’t scan,” Dory said.

“Really? There’s nothing wrong with me? Lexie asked, her voice shaky. “But Dory, I’m just… so hungry it hurts. I just want to

“I… I feel terrible. Right here, it hurts so much,” she said.

Lexie pointed at her chest, a strange, suffocating pressure building up until tears started streaming down her face before she could even stop them.

Seeing herself cry, Lexie felt embarrassed, she didn’t want to be like this. ‘Am I just being overly sensitive she thought.

But she couldn’t help it. She was overwhelmed by all these negative emotions, and it was making her feel absolutely awful.

Seeing Lexie like this, Dory and Ares were both really worried. After scanning her over and over, they could only guess that being cooped up in here for so long was seriously messing with her mood.

But with the rain howling outside and a particle dust storm kicking up, going out now was totally out of the question, it was way too risky.

“If only Marshal Drake were here, his mecha could handle this kind of particle dust storm no problem,” Dory muttered.

Meanwhile, Dory kept sending her coordinates to Austin, trying to let him know where she was.

But with the particle dust storm outside this planet, there was no way she could reach Austin at all.

“Lex, maybe you should try eating a bit more. Who knows, maybe having something in your stomach will help you feel better,” Dory said gently.

“But I’m almost out of nutrient fluid. If I keep eating like this, we’ll end up going hungry for the next few days,” Lexie replied, her voice tight with worry.
