“I’m literally the only female still alive in the whole interstellar zone, while in the Aetherion Interstellar Zone, there are hundreds of billions, maybe even trillions, of beastmen still breathing.

“With how rare I am, the number of people who want me could fill up the entire Aetherion Interstellar Zone.

“Someone as precious as me can have any beastman I want. Why would I ever bother trying to win you over?” Lexie shot back again.

Gary smirked, “Yeah, exactly! There aren’t many top–tier beastmen like me in the whole interstellar zone. Honestly, it’s no surprise you’re checking me out.”

Seeing Lexie getting pissed, Gary crossed his arms over his chest and gave her a condescending look from above.

He said, “Lexie, sure, there are tons of beastmen who are into you. But you know deep down, they only care about the fact that you’re a female.

“As long as you’re a female, even if you looked hideous, they’d still be all over you.

But if you were just another beastman, even if you were as drop–dead gorgeous as the Beast God himself, they wouldn’t even look your way.”

“You… you bastard! Do you have to be so damn hurtful?” Lexie snapped.

‘Gary is such a bastard. Everything that comes out of his mouth is pure poison,‘ Lexie thought.

“Gary, can I touch your abs?” Lexie asked.

“Alright, but there’s a catch,” Gary said.

“Spill it. I’ll see if it’s something I can live with,” Lexie replied.

“You…” Lexie was about to lose it.

“Hey, Lexie, chill for a sec! Let me finish before you blow up,” Gary said, waving her off.

Gary gestured for Lexie to calm down, then kept going.

“So honestly, the only thing I can do is make your kids my godchildren. Since they’re born from a real mother, they won’t have any of those damn gene diseases.

“Plus, since you and my brother have a mate bond, your kids would just call me ‘uncle‘ anyway.

“But I don’t want to be just their uncle, I want to be their godfather. So, what do you say? Will you agree?” Gary asked.

“Sure, but those little mer eggs are Kaelen’s kids too. If he’s good with it, then I don’t mind,” Lexie shrugged.

“Alright then, come over and feel these abs for yourself! But Lexie, try not to get so worked up that you start drooling all over me. I’m not a fan of slobber,” Gary said.

“You… just you wait,” Lexie shot back.

Seeing Gary acting all high and mighty, Lexie had to swallow down the urge to snap back at him.

She forced a ridiculously fake smile onto her face, then strutted up to Gary, playing up the flattery.

“Gary, can I touch your abs now?” Lexie asked, trying to sound as sweet as possible.

“Alright, go ahead,” Gary said, arms crossed, looking every bit the proud tsundere.

“Uh, could you maybe close your eyes? I’m feeling kinda shy,” Lexie teased, putting on her best innocent act.

“Shy? You? Seriously, your skin’s thicker than a fortress wall,” Gary shot back.

“Gary, do you have a death wish?” Lexie snapped, practically baring her teeth.

“Fine, fine! I’ll close my eyes,” Gary said with a dramatic sigh.

Once Gary closed his eyes, Lexie sneakily unscrewed the cap of the water bottle she’d been hiding behind her back.

With the cap off, Lexie stared at that tsundere face of his, eyes still shut. Just as a mischievous grin crept onto her lips, Gary spoke up, eyes still closed.

“Lexie, you done yet?” Gary called out.

“Almost, almost! Just a sec! No peeking, Gary!” Lexie chirped, playing up the sweet act.

“As if I’d ever want to peek at you, you ugly female!” Gary snorted.

Hearing Gary call her an ugly female again, Lexie silently cursed him under her breath.

The next second, she pulled open the front of Gary’s pants with one hand and dumped the whole bottle of ice water straight into his crotch, then bolted away like her life depended on it.

“Oh! Lexie, you ugly female! How dare you set me up like that!” Gary shouted, his voice full of outrage.

“Hahaha! Serves you right! Keep calling me ugly, huh? Gary, you shameless jerk, look at you, all soaked down there!” Lexie cackled, nearly doubling over.

Seeing Gary clutching his crotch, face twisted in fury, Lexie was laughing so hard she was shaking all over.

‘Hahaha…

‘I can’t take it, this is killing me!‘ Lexie thought, tears streaming down her face.

When the commotion from Lexie and Gary reached them, Cristia, Kaelen, and Arthur hurried over to find Lexie kneeling on the ground, laughing so hard she was practically gasping for air.

Meanwhile, Gary was clutching his crotch, ranting at Lexie and calling her an ugly female over and over.

One glance at Gary’s drenched pants and the empty water bottle in Lexie’s hand, and the three of them didn’t need any explanation, they instantly knew exactly what had gone down.

‘Lex, this little female, how does she even have the guts to pull something like that?‘ Arthur thought, shaking his head.

Arthur gave a wry smile, stepped forward, and took the empty bottle from Lexie. Glancing at the label, he couldn’t help but say, “Lex, this water is way too cold. It chills things super fast, it could freeze your skin.”

“What?” Lexie blurted out, her laughter dying instantly.

As soon as Arthur said that, Lexie’s laughter died on the spot.

‘Wait, it can actually give someone frostbite? Did I just pour ice water right on Gary’s bits? Crap, did I just freeze his crown jewels off?‘ Lexie thought, panic rising.

‘Gary’s a beastman, if I actually wrecked his crown jewels, he’ll probably hate me forever!‘ Lexie thought, her heart pounding.
