‘Marshal Drake, I’m heading to the Snow Wolf Clan soon. Want to come with me?” Gary asked.

‘Snow Wolf Clan? Nah, I’ll sit this one out,” Austin replied.

Gary couldn’t help but be taken aback by Austin’s refusal.

‘Mind telling me why you’re not coming?” Gary pressed.

Austin met Gary’s confused look, let out a heavy sigh, and finally started to explain patiently.

‘Gary, Lex’s identity is no longer a secret. Now that everyone knows, she’s going to face a whole lot of problems,” Austin said.

‘For her future peace, I need to resolve all those issues before she comes back,” he added.

Hearing this, Gary gave Austin a firm pat on the shoulder, genuine respect in his voice.

‘Marshal Drake, honestly, you’re the kind of person everyone should look up to. No wonder Lex fell for you, Gary said.

“With you around, Lex can have real happiness and feel truly safe. You’re not just thinking about her future, you’re making sure her kids have the best start possible,” he added.

“I know you’ve carried a lot on your shoulders and given up so much over the years. But believe me, it’s all been worth it,” Gary said.

“Lex is lucky to have you as her mate, and it’s something all of us beastmen are proud of. Now I get why she’s so into you,” he

added.

“It’s not just your words, it’s your actions that truly win Lex’s heart, Gary said with a grin.

“Thanks for the compliment. Gary, if you actually get to see Lex at the Snow Wolf Clan, please take good care of her for me. Austin replied softly.

“And let her know, if she ever wants to come back, all she has to do is say the word. No matter what, I’ll come to the Snow Wolf Clan and bring her home myself,” Austin promised.

“Got it. I’ll make sure Lex gets everything,” Gary replied.

After taking the items from Drake, Gary turned to Cristia, who was sitting beside him, and grinned.

“Cristia, want to come with me to the Snow Wolf Clan?” he asked.

“I never got an invite from the Snow Wolf Clan. Even if I went, it’s not like I’d actually get to see Lex,” Cristia said.

“Rather than wasting my energy for nothing, I’d rather rally the Nine–Tailed Fox Clan and do everything we can to help Marshal Drake deal with all the mess out there. Then we’ll just wait for Lex to come back,” he added.

“Alright, suit yourself,” Gary said with a shrug.

With that, Gary shot a look at Kaelen, who looked pretty down, and said seriously.

“Little Fish, you need to stay here and hatch those eggs, so you’re definitely not going anywhere. And Arthur, without the permission from the Snow Wolf Clan’s High Priest, even if you show up, you won’t get to see Lex,” Gary said.

‘Here’s what we’ll do. If any of you have something to say or something to give to Lex, just hand it over now. I’ll make sure she gets it, alright?” he added.

‘I’ve got something for Lex,” Kaelen said, handing over a small box. “This is the merfolk’s prized treasure. Make sure she gets

it.”

‘I’ve got something too,” Arthur chimed in. “These are supplements to help her get her strength back. Lex is still pretty weak, and with how cold it is in the Snow Wolf Clan, she really needs to take care of herself.”

‘Oh, and when you head to the Snow Wolf Clan, don’t forget to bring her mecha, Dory. With Dory there, Lex will have someone looking out for her,” he added.

Hearing Arthur say that, Cristia, who’d been standing quietly to the side, spoke up in a low, serious voice.

‘Gary, take my Ares to Lex as well. Ares already recognizes her as its master. Things are pretty unfamiliar for her in the Snow Wolf Clan, so with Ares around, she’ll have extra protection,” he said.

‘And don’t forget the Tumblebeast. It’s tough enough to handle the cold, let it keep Lex company,” Cristia added.

After hearing what Cristia, Arthur, and Austin had to say, Gary took the items from them and then turned his gaze to Nelson, who was standing off to the side.

“What’s this?” Gary asked, holding up the crystal card with a puzzled look.

“Give this crystal card to Lex. She’ll know how to use it once she receives it,” Nelson said.
