As Austin left, Nelson, standing off to the side, spoke in a low, serious voice.

Arthur, if you ever need anything, just let me know. Since Lex is a female, if there’s anything I can do, I’ll help you out.”

Thank you, Your Highness,Arthur replied.

Whenever Arthur was around Nelson, he always kept his attitude respectful but distant. He knew Nelson well, he was the very definition of a sophisticated selfserving type.

Even though both Nelson and Austin held high positions, they couldn’t be more different in how they dealt with people and problems.

So when Nelson offered to help, Arthur thought to himself, I know exactly what Nelson’s offer really means.

If he wanted Nelson’s help, he would have to pay back in equal measure sooner or later. That was why he always weighed the consequences before reaching out to Nelson.

After watching Austin, Nelson, and Cristia leave, the once lively Merfolk Island was now empty, Arthur was the only one left.

He switched on the surveillance system he’d installed deep underwater, keeping in touch with Kaelen. Through the monitor, Arthur saw the three mer eggs, closely guarded by the merfolk. Unconsciously, his gaze grew gentle.

These are Lex’s children, Arthur thought.

With all the chaos earlier, he’d even forgotten to check if the little merfolk inside were females or beastmen.

But really, that didn’t matter. As long as Lexie and the kids were safe, nothing else was important.

By the time Austin and Nelson got back to the Empire and the Federation, the whole galaxy was already abuzz with the news hat Lexie was a true female.

But that wasn’t all, every detail about Lexie, from her fake identity as an artificial female, her looks, the rescue videos she’d posted from her own perspective, to the mer eggs she had with Kaelen, was splashed all over the Interstellar Net.

Once Austin and Nelson themselves confirmed everything, the whole interstellar zone went wild.

Everyone was shocked. Beastmen everywhere couldn’t stop talking about this mysterious and beautiful female, her egendary story drew everyone in.

Suddenly, every corner of the Interstellar Net was flooded with rumors and videos about Lexic.

It wasn’t just the ordinary folks talking, even the major media outlets from both the Federation and the Empire were lighting to report on her, analyzing every aspect of this female’s journey.

Right now, whether in the Empire or the Federation, all they knew was Lexie’s name and that she was a female

As for what kind of family she was born into, where she truly came from, or why she appeared on the deserted Dora Planet, no one knew a thing.

But even though no one knew where Lexie came from or why she showed up on Dora Planet, her identity as a female didn’t stop the beastmen of the Aetherion Interstellar Zone from being utterly captivated by her.

Thanks to the beastmen’s overwhelming enthusiasm for Lexie, her name seemed to sprout wings, spreading to every corner of the interstellar zone in just a matter of days.

As the new beacon of hope for the interstellar zone, Lexie had the whole Aetherion Interstellar Zone absolutely obsessed with her, no one had ever been this popular before.

On top of that, beastmen everywhere were constantly keeping tabs on the three mer eggs she’d given birth to, with everyone secretly betting on whether one of them would hatch into a female.

To get the latest scoop on those eggs, every sea tribe in the Aetherion Interstellar Zone was scrambling behind the scenes, all trying to dig up any news about when those eggs would finally hatch.

But the merfolk were guarding those three eggs tighter than a dragon hoards its gold. Any beastman who wasn’t merfolk couldn’t even get close to their inner waters, let alone catch a glimpse of the little mer eggs.

Of course, Arthur was the only one who got a pass.

After running the scan on the mer eggs, Arthur’s eyes lit up as he turned to the exhausted Kaelen. Kaelen, I figured out the genders, there are two beastmen and two females!

Kaelen blinked at him, totally baffled. Arthur, there are only three eggs. How could there be four babies? Are you messing with me or just sleepdeprived?

Arthur, still buzzing with excitement, pointed at one of the eggs. No, seriously! In this egg, there are actually two little female mermaids, hugging each other tight.”

What did you just say?Kaelen blurted out, staring in shock.

As Arthur explained, Kaelen stared at the biggest egg, his eyes practically sparkling with excitement.

Wait, you mean there are actually two little females in the biggest egg?Kaelen asked, his voice trembling with excitement.

That’s right, there really are two little female mermaids in this egg. Kaelen, don’t think I’m showing favoritism, but having two hatchlings from one egg is crazy rare.

And since they’re both getting their nutrients from the same egg, seriously, you’ve got to be super careful with them. Treat them like the most precious thing in the world, don’t let anything happen to them, okay?Arthur said.

I will, I promise I’ll take the best care of them. Arthur, they’re our babies, Lex and mine.

Not for anything in the world would I let anything happen to them,Kaelen replied.

Kaelen was absolutely over the moon when he heard there were two little ones in the biggest egg-

‘Oh my god! Ever since I inherited the merfolk legacy, I’ve never, ever heard of a merfolk king hatching two babies from one egg. Kaelen thought, his heart racing with excitement.

For the sake of his little oneshealth and safety, he was determined to take extra good care of his precious babies from now

As long as he made sure his precious babies were safe and sound, he knew Lexie would only truly be happy once she was back from the Snow Wolf Clan and fully recovered.
