Hearing Lexie’s question and catching her curious gaze, the High Priest ran his fingers over his mask and shot the question right back at her, “Lex, do you want to see what’s under my mask?”
“Wait, if I see your face, does that mean I have to be with you?” Lexie asked, a little flustered.
“Exactly. Once you take off my mask, you have to be with me. If you refuse, I won’t hurt you, but I’ll take my own life,” the High Priest said, his tone deadly serious.
“Hey, you don’t have to be that serious!” Lexie teased, a little surprised.
“When it comes to the rest of my life, I have to be serious. Lex, if you want to be with me, or if you’re just curious about my face, you can take off my mask,” the High Priest replied, his voice steady and unwavering.
“So, High Priest, are you even allowed to have a mate?” Lexie asked, her curiosity getting the better of her.
“Of course I can. Just because I’m the High Priest of the Snow Wolf Clan and a bit more capable than most doesn’t mean I’m immune to all the emotions and desires everyone else feels,” the High Priest replied, his voice calm and steady.
Hearing the High Priest’s unwavering certainty, Lexie stared at the mask on his face, feeling that ethereal, cool vibe he gave off.
To be honest, Lexie’s heart skipped a beat.
So, with the High Priest watching her, eyes full of hope and nerves, Lexie reached out and gently lifted his mask away.
The moment Lexie lifted the mask, she was greeted by a face so ethereal it almost didn’t seem real.
He looked like he’d stepped straight out of a dream, every feature impossibly perfect, his skin smooth and luminous like fine jade, and an air of pure elegance lingered between his brows.
Those deep eyes, shining like stars scattered across a midnight sky, held both wisdom and a gentle warmth that drew her in.
For a second, Lexie just stood there, totally lost in the moment.
Honestly, she’d never seen a guy this gorgeous in her entire life. Staring at that unreal beauty, Lexie’s heart skipped a beat, and then just kept racing, impossible to calm.
Oh my god! Is that even real? We’re all human, but how can someone be so beautiful it’s almost criminal? Lexie thought, totally floored.
‘Seriously, with a face like that, anyone would lose their mind, she couldn’t help but think.
Honestly, Lexie was totally mesmerized by the High Priest’s face. It was just unreal
Seeing Lexie totally dazed, the High Priest gave her a gentle, heart–melting smile that could mich anyone on the spot
That smile just made Lexie a complete fool for him.
If an icy beauty like him smiled at someone, anyone would lose it. As for Lexic, who was a total sucker for good looks, was absolutely done for.
Seriously, she was literally dying from how hot he was
Meeting Lexie’s totally smitten gaze, the High Priest leaned in a little closer. He looked at her, his voice low and gentle, full

of tender affection.
“Lex, are you satisfied with my face?” he asked.
“Yeah, I’m satisfied,” Lexie replied, her voice barely above a whisper.

With that gorgeous face getting closer and closer, Lexie was so dazed she could only nod, completely bewitched.
Maybe it was the amnesia messing with her head, or maybe her brain was just wiped clean, but to Lexie, this beastman was seriously the hottest guy she’d ever laid eyes on.
With looks like his, not making him her boyfriend right away would be a total waste.
Honestly, whether it was the High Priest’s cool, aloof vibe or that impossibly perfect face, Lexie was totally obsessed, she couldn’t be more satisfied if she tried.
Seeing Lexie totally entranced, the High Priest reached out and gently tilted her chin up with his finger, his voice soft and tender.
“So, Lex, from now on, are you willing to be mine?” he asked.
“Of course I am. I wouldn’t want anything else,” Lexie replied without a second thought.
“Really? Lex, since you’ve lost your memory… if you ever remember everything again, will you still feel the same about me?” the High Priest asked, his voice gentle and a little uncertain.
“Come on, with a face like yours? I’d be crazy not to like you,” Lexie teased, her tone playful and full of admiration.
“That’s all I needed to hear. Lex, as long as you’re mine, I’ll do whatever it takes to give you everything you want,” the High Priest promised, his voice warm and devoted.
“Hehe, I don’t want anything else. I just want you,” Lexie said, her voice playful and full of affection.
Hearing that, the High Priest’s lips curled into a smile he couldn’t hide, he was just too happy.
Seeing his smile, Lexie’s eyes lit up even more, sparkling with delight.
‘Oh my god! I seriously lucked out, how did I end up with a boyfriend this insanely good–looking?‘ Lexie thought, totally amazed.
Just when things between Lexie and the High Priest were getting seriously romantic, someone suddenly called out, sounding both excited and relieved.
“Lex, I finally found you! Do you even know how long I’ve been searching for you in these snowy mountains?
“That damn wolf Kaelis wouldn’t give me a straight answer about where you were, so I’ve been wandering all over this place trying to find you.
“Lex, I’ve been out here for a whole month, almost froze to death! If I’d kicked the bucket, you’d have lost the best mate
ever!”
Lexie looked down at the beastman sprawled across her lap, listening to his dramatic sobbing. Still in shock, she cupped his cheeks and made him look up at her.
His face was downright seductive, an absolute contrast to the High Priest’s icy, otherworldly vibe.

Every feature was flawless, like he’d been sculpted by the gods themselves. Those deep eyes looked like they could read her every thought, yet there was a hidden warmth in them that was easy to miss.
Lexie glanced down at the beastman, catching that hint of sadness in his eyes. Even though she was still reeling from how insanely attractive he was, she just had to ask, a little baffled, “Um, who are you?”
“Wait, Lex, are you serious? You’re asking who I am?” the beastman blurted out, totally floored.
Lexie just pointed to her head, looking a bit sheepish.
“Uh, I woke up and couldn’t remember a thing. I don’t even know my own name or where I came from.
“The High Priest looked me over and said it’s just temporary. He thinks I’ll get my memory back soon.
“Right now, my mind’s totally blank, so I have to ask, so, who exactly are you? And did you really mean it when you said you’re my mate?” Lexie explained.
“Lex, you lost your memory?” the beastman blurted out, totally floored.
When Gary heard Lexie had lost her memory, his eyes went wide with shock. But after a moment, he couldn’t quite hide a flash of glee, like he was secretly thrilled about it.
Lexie had no idea what he was so secretly pleased about, but she still nodded seriously.
“I’m really suffering from amnesia. So, can you tell me your name? And is it true that you’re my mate?” Lexie asked, sounding genuinely confused.
“Absolutely, it’s true! Lex, I’m your mate, Gary Tucker. I’m the one you care about most,” he said, brimming with confidence.
“So, do you have any proof that you’re actually my mate?” Lexie asked, not quite convinced.
