He tugged down his collar, showing off the fox totem on his chest.

“Lex, this is the totem that showed up when we formed a mate bond. If you don’t believe me, just pull down your own collar and see for yourself. You’ll find the same fox totem on your chest,” Gary continued.

“Wait, actually, there are three totems. One’s from my brother, and another is from Kaelen Tideborne,” Gary added.

Even without pulling down her collar, Lexie knew what Gary said was true, there really were three totems on her chest.

‘And besides Marshal Drake, there’s Prince Nelson from the Aetherion Federation. You made a deal with him, so it looks like you’ll be with him too,” Gary explained.

‘Oh, and let’s not forget, your admirers could line up from the Empire all the way to the Federation. But honestly, no matter how many people are into you, I’m still the one you like the most.

As for all those charming guys you’ve got hanging around, none of them can hold a candle to me. Lex, you told me yourself, I’m the one you like best.

“Lex, you’re always saying you love a pretty face, right? So just look at me, don’t you think I’m gorgeous?” Gary said

“You’re seriously handsome, no doubt about it. But… are you messing with me right now?” Lexie stanumered, still trying to process everything.

“Of course it’s true, Gary replied, sounding totally sure of himself.

As he spoke, Gary gently took Lexie’s hand and pressed his cheek into her palm, nuzzling against it softly.

“Lex, come on, take a good look, am I not the best–looking guy you’ve ever seen?” he teased, lus eyes full of playful mischief.

Lexie studied Gary’s charmingly attractive face. Honestly, he really was pretty gorgeous.

“Tell me, Lex! Am I handsome or what?” Gary coaxed, his eyes full of playful mischief.

“Yeah, you’re handsome,” Lexie replied.

“So, do you like me the most?” Gary asked, his eyes full of playful hope.

“I… I lost my memory, so I’m not really sure,” Lexie mumbled, her voice barely above a whisper.

She replied softly, sounding uncertain.

“I don’t care if you’ve lost your memory or not. Either way, you have to like me best,” Gary said, his voice playful but totally determined.

With Lexie staring at him in shock, Gary lifted her hand and placed a gentle, almost worshipful kiss on the back of it.

That kiss sent Lexie’s heart into overdrive.

‘Oh my god! This guy is such a pro at flirting, who could possibly resist him?

‘Plus, he’s ridiculously handsome,‘ Lexie thought, her mind spinning.

After the kiss, when Gary looked up and met Lexie’s sparkling eyes, his smile grew even more mischievous.

He couldn’t help but feel secretly proud. ‘I knew it, Lexie is such a little female who can’t resist a handsome face.

With a face like mine, all it takes is a little flirting and she’s totally hooked, he thought, feeling smug.

Even while feeling all proud of himself, Gary still remembered to check in on Lexie and see how she was doing.

As he spoke, Gary fished out the crystal card Nelson had given Lexie and handed it over to her.

‘Lex, this is it,” he said.

Lexie took the crystal card from Gary and turned it over in her hand, but she couldn’t figure out what it was for.

But when she tried to put it away, the crystal card, which had been palm–sized, suddenly shrank down to the size of a fingernail and embedded itself right in her palm, becoming just a tiny black dot.

“What is this?” Lexie asked, rubbing the tiny black dot in her palm with a puzzled look.

“Well, I don’t know either,” Gary admitted, his tone gentle and a little amused.

He softly cupped Lexie’s hand in his own, his voice warm and reassuring.

“High Priest, any idea what this is?” Lexie asked, curiosity in her voice.

The High Priest took her hand, examined it closely, then spoke gently.

“That’s a spatial teleporter. If you ever need help or find yourself in danger, it’ll whisk you away to a safe place,” he explained.
