Just as Lexie was feeling confused, Gary nervously tugged at her sleeve, his eyes full of worry as he asked in a soft voice,
“Lex…
“What’s up?” Lexie replied, sounding casual.
“Can I stay here with you tonight?” Gary asked, his voice soft and hopeful.
“Stay here with me? What are you up to?” Lexie raised an eyebrow, sounding suspicious.
“Lex- I haven’t seen you in ages, and I really missed you! You used to adore me, you know. Now that I finally got a chance, I just want to hang out with you!” Gary pouted, his voice playful and full of longing.
“What’s wrong? Is it because I’m getting old and you don’t like me anymore? Are you ditching me now?” he added, sounding extra pitiful.
As he spoke, Gary touched his face and put on an over–the–top pout, acting like a total drama queen. The way he looked at Lexie was so exaggeratedly pitiful and forlorn, it was almost impossible not to feel sorry for him.
Seeing Gary pulling that pitiful face, Lexie couldn’t help but let out a dramatic sigh, there was no way she could say no to him.
“Gary, it’s chilly on the floor. Go lie down on that lounge chair over there,” Lexie said, trying to sound firm.
“Aw, come on! I just want to be close to you, Lex. Can I sleep right next to you?” Gary pleaded, giving her his best puppy
eyes.
“Absolutely not. Gary, if you don’t like it, then get lost,” Lexie shot back, her tone leaving no room for argument.
“Fine, I’ll just crash on the lounge chair then. But Lex, this thing is freezing! I get cold so easily,” Gary whined, putting on his best puppy–dog eyes.
“That’s easy. If you’re cold, just let your fox tails out and use them as a blanket or something,” Lexie teased, clearly not expecting him to actually do it.
Lexie was just messing with him, never expecting Gary to actually pop out all nine of his fluffy fox tails and just flop right down on the lounge chair like it was no big deal.
In the dimly lit room, Gary had his back turned to Lexie.
After he lay down, his nine big, fluffy tails kept swaying in the air behind him.
Gary’s tails were so long that even though the lounge chair wasn’t that close to Lexie, his tails would occasionally sweep over
to her side.
While Lexie was still stunned, Gary’s tails had already looped around her face and neck a few times.
Lexie was so thrown off by his move, she didn’t even know how to respond.
Watching Gary’s tails put on a show right in front of her, Lexie was left totally dumbfounded, she could hardly believe her
eyes.
She’d never seen Gary do anything this bold with all nine of his tails before.
Those nine tails swayed in the air, like they had a magic of their own, filling the whole room with a mysterious, almost flirty

By the end, Lexie was completely flustered by Gary’s nine tails, they were just way too much for her to handle.

Lexie couldn’t help herself, she reached out and brushed one of his tails, and the soft, fluffy feel instantly sent a rush of heat through her, making her heart race for no reason at all.
Just that one touch was enough, the restlessness she’d just managed to tamp down exploded inside her like a wildfire, leaving her burning up and craving more.
Lexie couldn’t help but gaze at Gary’s profile, his features softened by the golden glow of the lamp. He was seriously good- looking.
No, scratch that, he looked downright edible.
Lexie’s throat went dry as she stared at Gary’s face, and she ended up swallowing without even thinking about it.
It wasn’t until after she’d swallowed that Lexie snapped back to reality. ‘Why am I suddenly eyeing Gary like he’s a snack?‘ she thought, totally thrown off.
No way! There’s just no way this is happening,’ she told herself, trying to shake it off.
Seriously, why am I suddenly eyeing Gary like he’s a snack?‘ she thought, totally thrown off.
Probably because Gary’s just way too flirty! Even when he’s trying to sleep, he can’t keep his nine tails from teasing me,‘ she grumbled to herself.
Seriously, that’s just too much,’ she thought, rolling her eyes.
Still muttering complaints in her head, Lexie gulped down a bottle of ice water, she needed to cool off after all that teasing, hen slipped under the covers, hoping she could finally get some sleep.
But the moment she lay down, her head felt weirdly stuffy. She reached up to rub her forehead, and as soon as her fingers. >rushed that gemstone, an electric jolt of tingling shot through her, making her whole body go rigid,
She had no clue what that gemstone on her forehead was even made of, just touching it was enough to set her off in the weirdest way.
Every time Lexie’s fingers grazed the gem, her body would go haywire, reacting with all sorts of indescribable sensations she couldn’t even begin to explain.
Ugh, this is seriously unbearable, she thought, feeling absolutely miserable.
Whatever, I’ll just leave that gem alone and pretend it doesn’t exist. Problem solved, Lexie muttered to herself, trying to
brush it off.
That’s what Lexie told herself, but as she lay in bed, drifting off, a restless longing welled up from deep inside, leaving het feeling all hazy and on edge.
Wrapped up in that anxious feeling, Lexie instinctively just wanted to grab onto something for comfor
But when she rolled over, a big fluffy tail popped up right in front of her, and she ended up with a whole armful of u hugging it close without even thinking.
As Lexie wrapped her arms and legs around the tail, a low, muttled groan slipped out in the dark. way too obvious in the quiet room.
