After Lilith died, Austin lost all hope for the future. He couldn’t help but question everything around him.
He sat on the edge of the bed, quietly watching Lexie’s peaceful ce as she slept, his heart filled with mixed emotions.
He wondered, ‘Is she really just a bot? If only she were a real fem le… Too bad, that’s not the case. Reality is just that harsh. Ms. Graham is gone, and now, all I can do is face this artificial female bot.
He shook his head, trying to snap himself out of it.
He thought to himself, ‘I can’t keep going like this. I have to pull myself together.
‘For the Aetherion Empire, for the future of the Aetherion Interstellar Zone, and for the legacy of the beastmen. I have to be strong.‘
Thinking that, Austin got to his feet, ready to head out of the room.
Before leaving, he gave Lexie a long look.
After all, Lexie belonged to him now. As long as she stayed close he knew that one day, he’d uncover what truly set her apart.
The next morning, Lexie stared at her own reflection, noticing how her cheeks looked even clearer and rosier.
‘Guess Dr. Cole was right. Aram’s meat really does work wonders for the skin, Lexie mused.
She’d heard that if one ate Aram’s meat for three days straight, their skin would look even better. So, Lexie decided she’d stick with it for three days.
After those three days, she wanted to see for herself just how amazing her skin could get.
Before they reached Dophi Planet, Lexie had been helping out in Arthur’s lab.
But in all those days, she never managed to find a chance to use the treatment pod to try and cure her incurable illness.
Her illness was still there, but after eating Aram for so many days in a row, her skin had gotten incredibly smooth and radiant.
Her improved complexion gave her delicate features a touch of alluring charm.
At first glance, she actually had the looks to be a real heartbreaker.
‘It’s not bad at all, she thought with a little smile.
Once they landed on Dophi Planet, and Lexie realized she was about to say goodbye to Arthur, she got flustered,
Lexie grabbed Arthur’s hand, blurting out in a worried voice, “D Cole, will we meet again after this?”
Arthur said with a gentle smile, “Of course! Lex, I’ve got several rivate clinics here on Dophi Planet. Whenever I get the chance, I’ll come back.
“Oh, and this is my personal crystal card. If you run into anything, just show this card at any of my clinics. Any service is free for you.”
Lexie glanced at the business card–sized crystal card Arthur handed her, feeling a pang of reluctance at the thought of parting ways. Still, she obediently accepted the card.

Chapter 10
“Do you have treatment pods in your private clinics? Lexie asked
“Of course, Lex. Most of my clinics cater to nobles, so having high end treatment pods is a must, Arthur replied
“Um Lexie stammered.
What’s up, Lex Arthur asked, a bit confused by her hesitation

Oh, nothing. Since we’re connected on Interstellar Net, can we keep in touch?” Lexie said, her tone soft and a little hopeful
“Of course. I’ll be back on Dophi Planet before long,” Arthur reped with a reassuring smile.
Arthur added warmly, “Your master now is Marshal Drake, and ‘s truly a good man. If you ever run into trouble, just go to him. He’ll always help you.
“And another thing. The people living on Dophi Planet are eithe wealthy, noble, or come from families with deep roots. You need to be extra careful here. Try not to offend anyone.
“There are some people here that even Marshal Drake wouldn’t are offend, understand?”
“Got it. I won’t cause any trouble,” Lexie replied, nodding.
Seeing Lexie nod so obediently, and catching the nervous, lost look in her eyes, Arthur just couldn’t help but feel reluctant to leave.
If he didn’t have important things to take care of, he honestly would’ve tried to fight Austin for Lexie’s custody right then and there.
After all, seeing such a sweet artificial female bot looking so pitiful and asking him to keep in touch, any beastman would be softhearted.
Unfortunately, he had real business to attend to, so he couldn’t fight for custody this time.
Steeling himself, Arthur forced a goodbye with Lexic, then turned and boarded another starship, vanishing into the unknown reaches of space.
Watching Arthur leave, Lexie could only reluctantly follow Ryke her heart aching with every step.
As for Austin, he had important business to handle, so as soon as they landed, he disappeared without a trace.
Since Lexie had promised Ryker she’d help with his brother’s genetic condition, now that she was on Dophi Planet, she figured she’d swing by to lend a hand, then head back to the place Austin had set up for her.
Ryker led Lexie to a mid–tier rehab center. After making it through a bunch of security checkpoints, they finally stepped inside, and Lexie instantly felt the place was suffocatingly oppresive.
As they walked down the long hallway, weird sounds echoed off he walls, and the overpowering scent of disinfectant made her brows scrunch up before she even noticed.
She honestly couldn’t believe Ryker’s brother actually lived here
Even if someone came in healthy, this place would drag their mod down.
Following the medical staff, Lexie and Ryker kept walking until ey reached the very last room at the end of the hallway.
When they pushed open the door, Lexie saw a beastman dressed in a crisp white uniform, with the head of a black panther perched atop his shoulders.
Bathed in sunlight, his panther head looked every bit as savage a real beast, but those icy, piercing eyes made Lexie’s skin

He was standing by the window, methodically wiping down a danger that caught the light with a chilling gleam.
His slender, pale fingers wrapped around the gleaming dagger, giving off an eerie kind of beauty.

When he heard the door open, he turned around. The moment their eyes met, Lexie felt like she’d just been marked by death itself.
Ryker’s brother is just plain scary as hell, Lexie thought, her heart pounding.
Seeing how scared Lexie looked, Ryker instinctively stepped in front of her, shielding her from his brother’s intense gaze.
Keon Griffin scoffed, “Ryker, why do you bring an artificial female bot here? Seriously, you don’t actually think she can fix my genetic disease, do you?
“Forget it. That’s never gonna happen. Pretty soon, my whole body’s gonna beastify, and I’ll end up just another soulless
monster.
“In the end, I’ll just get cleaned up like I never existed.”
Hearing his brother talk like that, Ryker stepped protectively in front of Lexie, his tone low and serious. “Keon, Lexie is Marshal Drake’s artificial female bot.
“She’s not just able to help calm Marshal Drake’s genetic disorder, but she even saved Dr. Cole’s life.
“You know, Dr. Cole only started falling apart so quickly because he accidentally got exposed to a gene–regression agent. That’s what triggered it.
“And that’s not all. Since we got back, Lexie’s helped a lot of beastmen with their genetic issues. Don’t forget we’re Marshal Drake’s elite guards. We’re just as capable as you are.”
