With Lex looking totally confused, Dory stepped forward, plucked a strand of her hair, and immediately began scanning it

in her hand.

Seeing Dory and Ares’s actions, Lex was completely thrown off.

Seeing the disbelief in Lex’s eyes, Dory spoke, her voice mechanical and deliberate, as if to make sure Lex understood every word.

“Lex, I’m not messing with you. Everything I said is real.

“I’m a high–tech creation, built by the institute. My purpose isn’t just to protect my master, you, but also to help study beastman genetics.

“Lex, my eyes can scan the genes of any plant or animal in the Aetherion Interstellar Zone. I really did detect thirteen different genes in you just now.

“If you really don’t believe you’ve got Light Beast genes, just try using your blood to save this Snow Wolf beastman.

“If your blood really helps him, then that’ll prove everything I just said is true.”

After a moment’s hesitation, Lex nicked her finger, drew out a drop of blood, and let it drip onto Kaelis’s lips.
