The Last True Female (Lexie) (by Sylvia Vance) novel Chapter 192

Chapter 192

I really didn’t expect Lex to like me that much. She even risked her own safety just to protect me.

High Priest, do you have any idea how touched I was? I was so touched that I thought I was gonna pass out.

I was so shocked that I froze for just a split second. Before I knew it, Lex got snatched away by those Bloodthirsty Beasts

And now, Lex has been taken by those Bloodthirsty Beasts. I’m freaking out here.

We took down all those damn Bloodthirsty Beasts, but where’s Lex? Where is she now?

I must be missing Lex like crazy, because I swear I can smell her scent right here.

Man, it’s justintoxicating,he muttered to himself.

Seeing Gary acting all smug and improper, the High Priest felt his eyes ache just looking at him.

This showoff fox is seriously getting on my nerves, the High Priest thought.

Even though he found Gary annoying, there were still some things he needed to ask.

Gary, we can’t find Lex right now. And judging by your face, you don’t look worried about her at all.

With that attitude, do you even deserve how much Lex cares about you?

Hearing the High Priest’s words, Gary shifted into his beastman form and turned back, flashing the High Priest a cocky grin

Of course I’m not worried about Lex’s safety. As long as I’m breathing, nothing’s gonna happen to her.

After all, I’ve already given her my fox bead. If anything happens to Lex, I’d know right away.

If I’m all good, that means Lex is safe too. So what’s there to worry about?

But hey, High Priest, what’s with the salty attitude? Are you jealous that Lex is so into me?

Is that why you’re coming at me all snippy like that?

Listen up, High Priest. Sure, you look decent, but you don’t have my flair, and you definitely have no clue how to keep a female happy.

So yeah, no matter how handsome you are, you’ll never hold the same place in Lex’s heart as I do.

After all, my Lex was willing to stand between me and danger, just to protect me.

He laughed.

Lex is willing to risk her life for me. She’s the one who loves me the most. Once I find her, I’m gonna shower her with love and we’ll have a bunch of little fox babies together.

Then I’ll be the father, and Lex will be the mother, and we’ll be one loving family, he thought.

As he spoke, Gary pressed his hands together, hooking his thumbs with a flourish.

He raised his brows, all sinug and selfsatisfied.

Chapter 192

Just one look at him was annoying

Maybe the sight of Gary shamelessly showing off was put tow much for the High Pried on someone this from your couldn’t take it anymore.

So when Gary strutted past all smug, the High Priest gave him a gred whack on the text touching the wall with a satisfying thud.

When Gary got smacked into the wall and dropped to the floor, he wasn’t hurt at all, and host felt any enchant

He was just about to scramble up and hunt down the High Priest for payback when, catch codes, the t into came crashing down.

Just as the wall collapsed, Gary and Lexie locked eyes, both of them wide eyed and socally owned

Once the shock passed, Gary’s legs went weak and he just flopped onto the ground, looking at sniffling, aggrieved voice.

Lex, the High Priest is picking on me

As he said this, he pointed at the High Priest, totally playing the victim and tartling like a bullied kit

Seeing his trembling lips and that pitiful look of trying to hold back tears, Lexie couldn’t help but feel sorry for him

If Lexie didn’t know what kind of guys the High Priest and Gary really were, she would be totally become a terkena gers who only cared about good looks and tossed all logic aside.

Honestly, with a face like his, even Lexie couldn’t help but love her composure.

Lex!Gary purred, his voice low and teasing

Seeing Lexie just standing there, totally spaced out, Gary let out a soft, impatient son

That little sound from Gary was so alluring that it had Lexie practically melting on the spot

Seriously, only a fox beastman could pull off moves like that. No one else even stands a chance, Lexie thought

With Gary giving her that mix of sulky and accusing puppy eyes, she couldn’t help but scratch her novely

She hurried over and helped Gary up from the snow. To cover up her embarrassment, the just kept her head down, fusing over him and brushing the snow off his clothes without saying a word.

Lex, my hand hurts so much. Look, it’s all scraped up. It’s all the High Priest’s fault. He’s just jealous of how much yine care about me, so he pulled a dirty trick behind my back.

Lex, the High Priest is just so mean. Can you just ignore him from now on, please?
