The Last True Female (Lexie) (by Sylvia Vance) novel Chapter 32

Black scales began creeping rapidly across Nelson’s back. They crawled downwards, inching toward his feet.

When they reached his legs, Nelson’s painful screamis echoed through the bathroom. His legs slowly disappeared, transforming into a black serpentine tail that writhed in the water, twisting in agony.

Nelson’s upper body was still human. He lay across the edge of the bath, glowing faintly through his translucent skin, gasping heavily from the excruciating pain.

After what felt like an eternity, Nelson’s bloodshot eyes slowly returned to their natural color. They were deep green now, clear and calm compared to the furious red from before.

He shifted slightly, waiting for the lingering discomfort to fade. Then he activated his Optic Brain, reviewing the video recently released on the Interstellar Net.

Nelson thought, That female bot could easily heal a beastman with a head beastification. She can definitely cure my gene

disease.

Unfortunately, Nelson could not locate Lexie. He was certain, however, that this female bot with such a powerful healing ability was somewhere in the Aetherion Empire.

Nelson thought, If I can use Amya to undermine the Aetherion Empire, once I control their Interstellar Net, I will find that female bot. I definitely will.’

The thought of his plan nearing success finally made Nelson feel a bit better.

Meanwhile, Lexie was still asleep in the treatment pod. She had no sense of how much time had passed, only that her body felt incredibly comfortable.

It seemed as if her body, which had once been ruined by the terminal illness, was being repaired bit by bit. She could even feel her previously dead cells coming back to life. The sensation was utterly wonderful.

Lexie had no idea that, on the other side of the Aetherion Empire, a man was searching for her everywhere.

During Lexie’s sleep, Ryker and Austin had come to Amya’s place several times looking for Lexie. However, every time they showed up, Amya managed to send them away with all sorts of excuses.

As days passed without seeing Lexie, Ryker and Austin couldn’t help but feel a creeping worry for her safety.

By the next day, when Austin still hadn’t seen Lexie, a sense of foreboding made it impossible for him to focus on work.

Austin desperately wanted to see Lexie right now, to make sure she was safe. So he went again to Amya’s door and requested once more to meet Lexie.

But once again, Amya refused. This time her excuse was even more flimsyAmya claimed Lexie was helping her with something and that she didn’t want to disturb Lexie.

Austin’s brows furrowed in frustration. He could no longer ignore the situation. For the first time in his life, he did something completely out of line.

As the Marshal of the Aetherion Empire, Austin forced his way into Amya’s room, determined to find Lexie. Amya smiled politely, but her voice was full of reproach, Marshal Drake, forcing your way into my room isn’t very appropriate.” She had never expected the usually composed and polite Austin to behave so disrespectfully.

Austin ignored Amya’s protest. His eyes scaimed the room desperately for any sign of Lexie. Ms. Reyes, I will apologize for this intrusion later. But where is Lexic? I must see her,he said.

Seeing how anxious he was, Amya couldn’t help but feel a flicker of curiosity. She thought, Could it be that Marshal Drake actually has feelings for Lexie?

But Amya seemed to think of something. When Austin’s confusi gaze landed on her, she shook her head and replied,

Marshal Drake, I already told you that Lexie is helping me with something right now.

Come back another day. You need to leave, and you are not allowed to wander around my room. If you don’t leave. I’ll have someone remove you. Go now. Once Lexic is done, I’ll let her come out to see you?

But Austin didn’t believe Amya at all. He stepped closer to Amya his eyes filled with determination. That’s impossible. If you don’t let me see Lexic, I won’t leave. Ms. Reyes, just do me this favor and let me see Lexie.

Once I can see for myself that she’s safe, I will leave immediately.

Amya watched Austin approach step by step, irritation rising in her chest. Marshal Drake, are you threatening me? Don’t forget that I am a noble female. Even though you’re the Marshal of the Aetherion Empire, your rank is lower than mine

I’m ordering you nowget out of my room right away.

With Amya urging him to leave and still no sign of Lex, Austin took a deep breath, trying to calm himself.

Austin then replied, Ms. Reyes, I don’t want to offend you, but I’m worried about Lexie. She hasn’t been seen all day, and I need to see her to be sure she’s safe.

My request isn’t unreasonable. Just let me see her for a moment. Once I know she’s alright, I will leave immediately. I don’t understand why you’re not letting me see her. Is it because something happened to Lexie?

Amya’s expression hardened. Marshal Drake, Lexie is just a lowly female bot. She’s a product grown in a laboratory.

She’s nothing but a cold, lifeless robotyou can produce as many as you want through experiments. If you really care about Lexie, I can have several more female bots sent to you. How does that sound?

Austin roared, That’s nonsense. Lex is family to me. She saved countless lives. Without her, many of my soldiers would have died from gene disease.

She’s our savior. She is not just some ordinary robot. So, Ms. Reyes, hand Lex over to me right now. believe it or not, I can deal with you in an instant.

If you dare harm her,

Don’t think I don’t know what you really are. You are not a true female. You are an android. Your master, Prince Nelson, created many androids in the underground city.

Those androids are designed to copy the genes of real females, so they look exactly like the real deal. They’re beautiful, and they possess human intelligence.

But because they were grown in incubation pods, their lifespans only last two months. During the first month, they get to their bodies and adjust to this world,

used

Once the second month starts, their bodies begin to age day by day. The first month has already passed, Amya. You have only one month left. If you want to keep living peacefully this month, you’d better not cause trouble for me.

Don’t fool yourself into thinking I can’t break the trap your master Nelson set. Trust me. That’s not happening. If he dares to use you as part of his plan, then of course I can tear his plan apart just as easily.

With that, and under Amya’s shocked gaze, Austin turned and headed toward the inner rooms. He pushed open door after door, moving quickly, until finally, when he opened the last one, he immediately saw Lexie sitting inside the treatment pod.
