Chapter 51
Arthur said, “Tell me, William, can you swear allegiance to Lex?
“If you can, kneel down now and take the oath to her. If you cannot, I will kill you right away.
“After all, Lex’s identity is top–secret. Besides me, not even your brother knows who Lex really is.”
“If it were not for what happened today, and my fear that no one could truly protect her every step of the way, I would never have revealed Lex’s true identity to you. William, the choice is yours to make,” Arthur added.
Upon hearing Arthur’s words, William looked intently at Lexie’s face. He hesitated for a moment before asking, “Dr. Cole, is it true that besides you, only I know Lex’s real identity now?”
“That’s right,” Arthur said.
William said, “Very well, then I am willing to swear.
“I am ready to dedicate everything I have to serve Lex faithfully forever, until the moment my life ends.
“If I ever dare to break this oath, may I, William, fall into the abyss and die, never to return to the embrace of the Sky God.
As he spoke, William dropped to one knee right in front of Lexie. His fingers transformed into sharp claws; he scratched his forehead until it bled, then let the blood drip onto the back of Lexie’s hand.
When the warm blood touched her skin, an eagle totem suddenly appeared on the back of dazzling red light.

But in just a moment, the eagle totem slowly faded away from her hand, disappearing without a trace.
Witnessing this scene, Lexie was utterly shocked. She had never imagined that in a place with such advanced technology, their oaths would be secured by an eagle totem.
Now that William’s oath had taken effect, she could trust him completely. The thought of having someone she could talk to without hiding her identity filled Lexie with uncontrollable excitement.
“Arthur, William has sworn the oath. Does that mean he is mine from now on?” Lexie asked.
Arthur said,
“I suppose so.
“What do you mean by ‘I suppose so? Arthur, I have sworn the highest contract of the Eagle clan. From this moment on, I am Lex’s man, without a doubt,” William said.
With that, William pushed Arthur aside and moved closer to Lexie. He took her hand, then said excitedly, “Lex, from now on, I am yours. No matter what you need, you can order me to do it.”
“When you fight, I will beat your enemies up; when you are angry, I will avenge you; when you are hungry, I will take you to cat delicious food; when you are tired, I will carry you home.
“In short, I am willing to take responsibility for everything about you.”
Looking at William’s sincere face, Lexie felt a surge of emotion in her heart. She had never thought that in this world, there would be someone willing to give up everything for her, even their life.
Lexie was about to say something, but Arthur interrupted her. He said, “Alright, stop being so sappy here. William, now that you are Lex’s man you must protect her well and never let her suffer any harin

“Also, you must stay by Lex’s side every step of the way. You must never let her encounter the slightest accident again. Do you understand?”
“Yes, Dr. Cole. I will definitely protect Lex well,” William said.
After speaking, William turned to Lexie again, his eyes filled with determination and tenderness.
Lexie looked back at William, her heart brimming with gratitude and trust. She knew that from now on, she would never be alone again.
Lexie asked, “William, since you are mine now, can we go to the seaside later?
“Arthur is always busy, and he never feels at ease letting me go out alone. Even when he sends someone to follow me, he still refuses to let me go far.
“Now that you are here, I can finally go out to play.”
Arthur said, “You can go. But when you leave later, you must hide your appearance. Also, your name outside will be Hill. Do you understand?”
“Yeah, yeah. I got it,” Lexie replied to the overly nagging Arthur, then took William’s hand and ran outside.
It had been so long since she came to Bolrasai Planet, and she had never really had a chance
Every time she went out before, she could not go far. Once she strayed too far away, Arthur wo back soon to ensure her safety.
Now that she had someone she could fully trust by her side, she could finally go out and have fun.
Surely come to fetch her
As soon as they walked out of Arthur’s hospital, William transformed directly into a huge black eagle.
He knelt down in front of Lexie, gesturing for her to jump onto his back. Seeing this, Lexie stroked the feathers on William’s body without hesitation, then climbed carefully onto his back.
“William, let’s take off,” Lexie said excitedly.
“Alright,” William responded.
Listening to Lexie’s thrilled voice, William slowly stood up, his tone unconsciously soft with affection. “Lex-”
“William, when we are outside, you have to call me Hill. You can’t call me Lex; it will expose my identity,” Lexie said.
William smiled and said, “Alright, Hill. Are you holding on tight?”
Lexie said, “I’m holding on. William, let’s go to the seaside now, then collect seashells. Let’s go!”
“Alright,” William said with a smile.
Lexie, who had been so excited just a moment ago, dared not move an inch once William carried her up into the sky.
She was afraid of heights. For her own safety, Lexie could only sit quietly on William’s back, unconsciously clutching his feathers tightly, fearing that she might fall off if she made the slightest mistake.
Sensing Lexie’s nervousness, William subconsciously flew a little lower, more steadily, and a bit faster. “Hill, don’t be afraid. I’m here, and I will never let you fall.”
Bust a little cowardly. William. give me a moment to adjust, and I’ll be fine soon,” Lexie said.
