Chapter 74
As the raccoon beastman leaned in while talking, Lexie was so shocked that she instinctively reached out and shoved him to the side.
“Too close, she thought, feeling a bit flustered.
Seeing her reaction, the beastman waved his tail playfully in front of her and said softly, “Hey, there, cutie…”
“Hey, my name’s Hill,” Lexie said.
“So, Hill, wanna give my tail a little stroke?” he asked, his voice playful and a bit flirty.
“As long as you don’t start making any interesting noises, I might consider it,” Lexie shot back with a teasing grin, meeting his bashful gaze.
“Oh, you’re terrible. Oh, by the way, my name’s Luna Young. Can you call me Luna from now on?” he said, his voice soft and a little coy.
“Alright then. Hey there, Luna,” Lexie replied with a smile.
Looking at Luna, who was almost too pretty for his own good, she fought back a smile as she stroked his tail. then was about to pull her hand away.
“Ah! Don’t stop. Keep going,” Luna purred, his voice teasingly seductive.
Lexie was at a loss for words.
Luna’s sultry tone drew the attention of every beastman waiting in line, all eyes suddenly on them.
Lexie caught their knowing glances and froze. Continuing was awkward, but stopping now would be even weirder.
Honestly, she was dying of embarrassment right now.
She knew that when she touched a beastman’s beastified body, they usually felt pretty good. She had helpe other beastmen before, but none of them ever acted like Luna, making those sultry noises.
Sure, she was just helping him with his beastified body, but to anyone watching, it probably looked indecent ‘Seriously, this guy is something else, Lexie thought, annoyed and amused.
“Luna, if you keep making those noises, I’m done. Seriously, you’re killing me with all that subry moaning she said, her voice a mix of exasperation and laughter.
With that, she gave his tail a couple more strokes before finally letting go.
The moment she released it, that big, fluffy tail that had been wagging behind him disappeared in an insta
‘Well, looks like his gene disease is fixed. Thank goodness I don’t have to keep petting him, she thought

‘Ugh, that was way too embarrassing, she thought, cringing inside.

Lexie was just starting to feel relieved when someone suddenly stepped right into the line right behind her.
“Hey, Hill,” the guy behind her called out.
“Wait, you know me?” she asked, a bit surprised.
She craned her neck to look up at the guy behind her, who had to be at least 6’6” tall, trying to catch a glimpse of his face.
And it wasn’t just his height. He was built. Seriously built.
Judging by his massive build, Lexie figured he had to be from the bear clan.
“Hey, Hill, I’m Harry Field, from the giant bear clan. I heard you’re a merfolk beastman, and you have the power to cure gene diseases.” Harry introduced himself, his tone both respectful and a little nervous.
“Last time, you healed Mr. White when he was completely beastified. That was incredible,” he added, admiration clear in his eyes.
“So, could you help me out too? I’ll pay, of course. I don’t expect it for free,” he said, sounding hopeful.
Lexie looked up at Harry towering in front of her, then glanced around at all the beastmen staring her way. She felt the weight of their attention.
She said, “Listen, Harry, let’s just wait in line for now. Once I get my uniform, I’ll help you, okay?
“And it’s free. If I help you out right here, it wouldn’t be fair to everyone else waiting.”
“Alright, cool. Thanks, Hill,” Harry replied, sounding genuinely grateful.
“No problem,” Lexie replied with a small smile.
She shot a quick glance at Harry, who was standing behind her like a living tower, then lowered her head trying to make herself as invisible as possible.
No
way around it. Stuck in the line, she could feel everyone’s eyes glued to her.
Just as the attention was about to suffocate her, Samuel, who had been waiting up front, walked over
“Hill, you don’t have to wait. I picked up yours and William’s. No big deal. Call it a student council perk, he said with a grin.
“It’s getting late. Let me take you to grab some breakfast. You’re already so tiny. If you skip meals, you might never grow any taller,” he teased, giving her a playful look.
Seeing Samuel about to lead Lexie away, Harry, still waiting in line, blurted out anxiously, “H–Hill, what about
me? What should I do now?”

“Easy. Let’s exchange Optic Brain IDs. Once you’re done here, just message me and I’ll help you out, Lexie replied, keeping it casual.
After quickly adding Harry on Optic Brain, she was whisked away by Samuel,
As she walked off, Harry was feeling quietly satisfied. He didn’t even notice the crowd of beastmen gathering
around him.
“Uh, can I help you guys?” he asked, sounding a little uneasy.
He put away his Optic Brain and glanced warily at the beastmen closing in.
“Hey, Harry, since we’re all students here, shouldn’t we look out for each other?” one of them said, putting on a friendly face.
“Wait, what’s this about?” Harry asked, his voice getting tense as he looked around.
“Hey, can you share Hill’s Optic Brain contact with us?” one of them asked, trying to sound all friendly,
“Yeah, pass it along,” another chimed in eagerly.
“We’ll make it worth your while, promise. We’re not asking for free,” someone else added, trying to sweeten the deal.
Harry, towering over everyone, fell silent, staring at all the fake, flattering smiles around him.
He scoffed inwardly, ‘Unbelievable. They really have no shame.
I was the first to approach Hill, and I haven’t even gotten my healing yet. Now, all these leeches are swarming in, trying to snatch my chance.
What a bunch of vultures!
But as the crowd around him kept growing, Harry knew that, like it or not, there was no way he was keeping Hill’s contact to himself today.

Meanwhile, just as Lexie was following Samuel to the cafeteria, she ran into Serenus, who was about to head inside.
The moment she saw him, her eyes lit up.
“Mr. White!” she called out, excitement bubbling in her voice.
Hearing her, Serenus, who’d been lingering near the cafeteria entrance all morning, whipped around instantly.
He saw her coming his way, and a big, happy grin lit up his gorgeous face,
He called out, “Hill, you’re here for breakfast too?”

“Yeah. Mr. White, since we’re both here, wanna grab breakfast together? Lexie suggested, her eyes sparkling with excitement.
“Sure. Since you invited me, how could I say no?” Serenus replied with a grin.
Lexie’s face lit up with joy.
After all, she had a favor to ask him.
Wanting to get on his good side, she made herself extra helpful during breakfast, fussing over every detail for him.
Seeing her hustling to get his food ready, Serenus smiled and said gently, “Hill, you really don’t have to de for me. I can handle it myself.”
“No, let me do it. Mr. White, just have a seat. I’ve got it covered,‘ she replied, her tone full of enthus34779
