The Last True Female (Lexie) (by Sylvia Vance) novel Chapter 95

As the group quickly boarded the private starship, their tense nerves finally began to relax a little.

As long as their starship could safely leave the port of Bolrasai Planet, Lexie would be much safer.

What Samuel and Eric missed was that as their starship pulled away from the port of Bolrasai Planet, the beastman who’d handed over the keys had an enigmatic smile on his face.

That smile seemed to hide something deeper, making you wonder what he was really thinking.

The starship picked up speed, leaving Bolrasai Planet behind, and Lexie felt herself finally starting to relax.

She pressed her forehead to the window, watching the planet shrink into the distance, her heart a whirlwind of feelings.

If not for Dr. Cole’s helpand the solid backup from Samuel and Ericshe never would’ve made it out.

But as for what lay ahead, Lexie couldn’t help but feel uncertain.

She glanced over at Tumblebeast and the little fox trailing beside her. Pulling the fox into her lap. Lexie idly ran her fingers through its nine fluffy tails, sitting quietly, her mind wandering somewhere far away.

She’d been in this world for so long nowshe knew how important she was to it.

But she wasn’t truly a female from this world.

That’s why the Clyssia Virus didn’t scare her at all.

But was her being here really a blessing for the beastmen?

If I’m being honest, is it really all that great for me to be the only female in this entire world?Lexie wondered, a hint of selfishness creeping into her thoughts.

Sure, I hate having to hide all the time, always running and looking over my shoulder. But living under the spotlight, with everyone treating me like some kind of celebrity? That’s even worse.

That’s why everything just felt so awkward and uncomfortable for her, no matter what she did.

Lex, want some water?

Lexie looked at the water Samuel handed her, then glanced at him sitting right next to her, confusion flickering in her eyes.

Samuel, did you know who I really was back when I first got to the dorm?

No, I only just found out who you really are,” Samuel replied. If Dr. Cole hadn’t told me himself. I never

would’ve known.

Lex, I honestly never expected you’d be a female.

After Ms. Graham left, I really thought there’d never be another female in this world.

But I never imagined you’d be one,” Samuel added, still a bit stunned.

Honestly? I didn’t see that coming either,Lexie replied, a hint of surprise in her voice.

Who would’ve thought I’d get tossed into another world and end up as the only female among beastmen?Lexie mused silently.

But she didn’t say that out loud.

Lex, can I see what you really look like?Samuel asked.

Lexie glanced back at Samuel, noticing how nervous he was. She smiled, and without hesitation, pulled off her mask, revealing her true face.

So, what do you think? Compared to those dropdead gorgeous girls, do I just look kind of plain?Lexie joked.

No way, not at all. Lex, you look amazing just as you are,Samuel said, his cheeks turning a little red.

Is that so?

Seeing how shy Samuel looked, Lexie put her mask back on, then leaned against the window with a sigh, sounding listless.

Samuel, when you found out I was a female, what was the first thing you thought?

Tell me the truth. I hate lies,Lexie added, giving him a serious look.

He didn’t say a thing, but Eric, who’d been quietly listening from the side, suddenly spoke up, his voice steady and sure.

Lex, when I realized you were a female, my first thought was that I’d do whatever it takesby any means necessary to keep you with me.

Even if you didn’t want to, even if it cost me my life, I’d still fight to make sure you stayed by my side.

So, Lex, does that answer work for you?Eric asked.

Hearing Eric say that, Samuel finally found the courage to meet Lexie’s eyes, his gaze intense as he spoke.

Honestly, I feel exactly the same as Eric,Samuel said, his voice unwavering. Lex, the moment I realized were truly a female, all I could think was that I had to keep you closenever let you go, no matter what.

Even if you didn’t want to stay, I’d still do everything in my power to make sure you couldn’t leave me.

you

It’s not for anything elsejust because you’re the only female, and because of that incredible healing ability you have.

Hearing Samuel and Eric say that, Lexie wasn’t surprised at all.

If she put herself in their shoesimagine a world where only women were left, and suddenly a man appeared by her sideshe knew she’d probably do the exact same thing.

Whether it was out of curiosity, attraction, or even for her own advantage, she’d definitely want to keep that

man close.

In short, having him around would be nothing but beneficial.

And right now, with her unique status, wasn’t she just as much of a prize to these beastmen?

First off, she was a femaleand not just any female, but one who could actually have kids. Second, she could heal the beastmen’s gene disease, which was huge for them.

And third, her status now was even rarer than a giant panda back in her old world.

Even if the beastmen around her didn’t care for her, if they ever decided to sell her, she’d fetch a ridiculous amount of money.

Thinking about all this, Lexie let out a long sigh. Honestly, what else can I even do?

Maybe I should just get all moody and dramatic, like those heroines in tragic romance webnovels, Lexie joked to herself.

But try as she might, she just couldn’t work up the angst.

Being the only female in this world had its downsides, sure, but there were plenty of perks too.

For starters, if her identity ever got out, she’d be the center of attentionevery beastman would be fawning over her, treating her like royalty.

If she wanted the stars in the sky, those beastmen would probably try to pull the stars down from the sky just to make her happy.

Of course, Lexie would never actually want something that ridiculous. I’m not crazywhat would I even do with a star?Lexie thought, rolling her eyes at the idea.

Plus, being the only female around, she could basically live like royalty in this world.

And seriously, every beastman here was dropdead gorgeous. If she ever wanted a mate, she could pick the hottest, most elite beastman out there.

And if she felt like it, she could change mates on a whim, becoming the most notorious heartbreaker among females in the whole world.

But honestly, none of that was what really mattered. The biggest thing was that the cuttingedge medical tech in this world had literally saved her from the brink.

If she hadn’t crossed over to this place, that incurable disease would’ve turned her to dust ages ago.

Only after brushing up against death did she realize just how insanely precious it was to still be alive.

As long as she was breathing, every challenge felt like nothing in comparison.
