“Too bad, that’s not the only way I can prove I designed this software,” she revealed before she smirked.

Finally, Gwen’s lips quivered. She frowned and said, “Whatever nonsense you are suggesting, it’s just a way to trick everyone.”

“I can assure you, I made this software!” Gwen claimed, pointing to herself while addressing the judges.

“Miss Rowan, how else can you prove this software is yours?” the judge, standing in front of Gwen’s laptop, inquired.

“Every programmer has a style,” Noelle responded. “I can show you several patterns that are consistent with my previous work, the software, NOBRI.”

Noelle turned to Silas, and then Milo came up on stage to present another laptop. The content on the laptop was also flashed on the LED screen.

A comparison was made, and it confirmed that several code patterns indeed matched NOBRI.

“It’s just a coincidence!” Gwen claimed. “Just because of certain patterns doesn’t make me a plagiarist!”

But Noelle ignored Gwen. This time, she added, “Aside from the patterns, I have another way to prove I created this software.”

Milo handed her a flash drive, which she passed to the judge. “Mr. Olsen, please open the file on this flash drive.”

The judge inserted it, and the moment he did, Gwen’s computer alerted a virus detection.

“You!” Gwen snapped at Noelle. “You compromised my laptop!”

“Don’t worry,” Noelle said calmly. “Your laptop has antivirus protection. What OmniSync Core is doing right now is shutting itself down to protect against the intrusion.”

Noelle turned to the audience and said, “You see, while OmniSync Core is still a prototype, I made sure it is fully protected, so when I return to complete it, its core architecture remains uncompromised.”

“Once it shuts itself out, only the creator can reactivate it,” Noelle said, returning her attention to Gwen with a smile on her face.

“Gwen, since you claim to be the creator of this software, why don’t you reactivate it?” Noelle suggested.

Gwen’s face grew complicated.

Her lips quivered as the color drained from her face.

“How—how can I reactivate it when your virus has destroyed my software?” Gwen’s voice rose. “You purposely did this to ruin my entry for the AI summit! How cruel of you, Noelle!”

Noelle rolled her eyes. She walked towards Gwen and pushed her aside. “If you can’t do it, I can.”

Mr. Olsen also gave way to Noelle, and she began typing a series of codes into Gwen’s laptop. Her fingers were so fast against the keyboard that the audience could not catch up.

Hearing that, Brian stumbled back.
