The Love I Begged For Was Never Real novel Chapter 460

Nora finally couldn't take the psychological torture of being boiled alive like a frog.

She dropped the wrapping paper, turned around, marched out from behind the counter, and walked right up to him.

“Get out.”

She glared down at the man in the chair, pointing at the door to kick him out. “You aren't welcome here. Leave immediately.”

Gideon looked up, meeting her hostile, defensive glare.

Adjusting his posture, he leaned forward slightly, his tone perfectly level and completely matter-of-fact.

“I told you last night. I bought the property rights for this street.”

His voice was low. “All the paperwork and funds cleared at dawn. I am the landlord of this flower shop now.”

“Sitting in my own property is perfectly legal.”

Nora's eyes widened, glaring daggers at him.

She took a sharp breath, violently suppressing the fury burning in her chest, and turned on her heel. Without another word, she marched back behind the counter and went back to prepping her flowers.

If she couldn't kick him out, she would just treat him like thin air.

For the next few days, the untouchable head of the Hayes Group became the most bizarre, unignorable fixture in the tiny flower shop.

Every morning at 7:30, exactly when Nora opened the doors, that pitch-black Maybach would be parked silently at the end of the street.

Gideon would walk in like clockwork.

He never forced her into conversation, nor did he try to drag her away again.

He just sat quietly in his corner, his long legs crossed, his eyes never leaving her for a single second.
