The Love I Begged For Was Never Real novel Chapter 478

The massive convoy roared through the torrential rain, sharply turning around and heading straight for the luxurious private villa Gideon had purchased on the mountain behind the town just days ago.

The living room was completely illuminated, the giant crystal chandelier casting a harsh, blinding glare.

Gideon carried her by force all the way into the master bedroom on the second floor, slamming the heavy solid wood door shut and locking it before throwing Nora down onto the massive, soft bed.

Dizzy and disoriented, Nora scrambled to sit up, but before she could even find her footing, Gideon's towering frame lunged forward, pressing down on her with an overwhelming, icy presence.

Ignoring her aches, she frantically crawled toward the other side of the bed on her hands and knees, desperately trying to put distance between them.

Gideon clamped a hand around her ankle and dragged her right back.

"Gideon, how much longer are you going to torture me?! What the hell do you want?!"

"What do I want?"

Gideon braced his hands on either side of her, completely caging her within his arms.

He leaned down, an intense, suffocating pressure instantly engulfing Nora.

"I told you, as long as you stay by my side, you can run your flower shop, you can buy whatever you want. But why did you run? Why did you buy a ticket? Why won't you just listen?!"

"You can hate me, you can hit me, you can refuse to speak a single word to me for the rest of your life!"

"But for as long as you live..."

"Don't ever think about taking another step away from me."

Pinned to the mattress, Nora felt the absolute disgust and despair in her heart violently erupt.

"What gives you the right?!"

Nora shrieked in defiance, her eyes filled with piercing hostility. "Gideon, what makes you think you can still control everything about me like before? Who do you think you are? You're nothing but a selfish, repulsive psychopath!"
