I sigh, finally getting to a good stopping point even though I don’t want to stop. I look at my mate knowing he’s waiting for me to start eating. I grab the sandwich, not looking to see what it is before taking a bite. I moan as soon as I bite into it. It’s a tomato, mozzarella, and pesto sandwich, pressed so the mozzarella is warm and melty, and the bread is crispy. The tomatoes taste like they’ve been seasoned and grilled. I don’t know why, but my little pup seems to have huge cravings for mozzarella.

“Congratulations Aunt Sophie!” I say, looking up at Robin. He’s smiling happily, knowing that Amelia is the first, but the rest of us aren’t far behind. I reach down, rubbing my hand over my own belly that is growing pretty quickly now that my pup has popped out.

“Why don’t we plan to get together when we all go to your brother’s old pack,” Sophie says.

“That’s a great idea. Is Lucas still planning to compete for that pack?” I ask, looking at Robin. I know that he and Reese have been working hard to get him ready for the next competition. I know he was disappointed that he didn’t win Owen’s pack, because it’s so close to us, but Alaric’s pack isn’t that far. It’s not as far as some of the other packs, that’s for sure.
