Chapter 384
“Alpha Amelia’s pack is nicer Do you know, Luna Nikki, will we be allowed to choose where we want to live?” an omega asks her.
“The purpose of opening up the packs and expanding the current number of Alphas is to allow everyone an opportunity to live in the pack that best suits them. It will also give nearly everyone who finds their mate in another pack the choice of which pack they want to live in,” she tells them.

“So, we could stay with Alpha Amelia if we wanted to?” another omega asks.
“Of course you can. I’ve loved having all of you in my pack,” Amelia says walking up.
“That’s good. There are a lot of us who are happy being in your pack.”
“I’m happy to have you. But as Luna Nikki said, it’s your choice. That’s a huge change from how things used to be, and one that we, as females, value more than most.”
I see Jocelyn walk in, looking around at all the work that needs to be done. Whoever takes over this pack will have their work cut out for
them in more ways than one.
“Did you want to go see your old room?” I ask Nikki quietly.
“Yeah. I’d like to see if there’s anything there that I want.” she says.
Chapter 384
She pulls out of my arms but takes my hand as we walk up the stairs.
When we get to the Alpha floor, there are people milling around, looking in the rooms and getting an idea of what needs to go and what needs to stay.
“Luna Nikki, was this your room?” Beta Kinsley asks from further down the hall.
“Hi, Beta Kinsley. I heard your mate was going to compete for this pack,” she says, walking forward.
Beta Lucas pops his head out of the room. “You heard right,” he says, stepping out. “I don’t think anyone has disturbed your things, Luna,” he says, gesturing for Nikki to enter her old room.
I stay with her, looking around the room. It feels like an immature version of the confident woman that she is now. Not completely different, but also not exactly the same either.
Across the room, there’s a dresser and I start walking forward, feeling a wave of jealousy, before I even realize what I’m doing.
“This had better not be for a lover,” I growl. It’s a card, propped up on the top of the dresser and I recognize the outline of my mate’s lips. She’d put on lipstick or gloss and kissed it the card, leaving a perfect imprint of her lips.
When I look at her, showing her the evidence of my jealousy, she smiles a strange smile, tilting her head slightly.
“Read it,” she says softly.

watch her a moment, not sure I understand the feelings that are coming from her through our bond. Then I look down and flip the card
open.
“To the man I love, the man I have yet to meet,
I can’t wait to be yours someday. I hope that I am the woman that you‘ ve always dreamed of and that I make you happy in ways that you never knew were possible. I know that you’ll make me happy and that we’ll be happy together. The Moon Goddess doesn’t make mistakes. so I’m sure you’ll love my smart mouth and sassy nature. I hope you do
anyway.
I just wanted you to know that I loved you before I ever met you.
Your Always,
Nikki‘
I feel my throat tighten and everything in me burns for this woman. I turn, not caring who else is in the room, striding up to her and taking her mouth in a possessive kiss. I don’t stop kissing her, pouring my love for her into the kiss and our bond. When I finally pull away, I look at her, my heart feeling ready to burst even if my throat still feels tight.
“I’m keeping this,” I growl.
