‘Get to Robin’s pack. Tell Beta Reese that his Alpha and Luna have been attacked. Alpha Robin is on his way to the pack hospital, and Luna Nikki is missing. I’m hunting Camden down now,‘ I tell Dante.

‘Allison, stay inside,‘ I say to her

‘What’s going on? Who are you hunting?”

I don’t want to tell her, but she’ll hear it soon enough and it should come from me.

‘Camden. He took Nikki,‘ I say, as gently as I can while I chase after Camden’s scent. I can smell Nikki’s scent too. so I know he has her.

We run about ten more minutes before I smell gasoline and oil. Shit!

he went,” I say to my warriors. “I need to go call for back up.

I race back to the pack, hearing Robin’s pack snarling and snapping as I pass. I howl that it’s me, changing directions and crossing his borders.

I run up to Reese and Dante, shifting as I go.

“Alpha, did you find our Luna?” Reese asks.

“No. We followed their scents to a car I have my warriors following it to try and find him,” I say.

“We need to attack!” Harrison, Robin’s Gamma, growls.

“We need back up. I can send some warriors if you attack now, but you’d be smarter to wait until I can get Alpha Hunter and some of his warriors here. Then we can all attack together,” I say.

Reese thinks for a moment, then nods. “Okay, but hurry.”

I turn, shifting and running back to my pack. ‘I need an update on Alpha Robin,‘ I say as I rush into the packhouse.

“Kayce!” Allison says, rushing to me. I scoop her up, knowing she needs to be calmed, but also knowing time is of the essence. I carry her to my office.

‘Alpha, Alpha Robin is in surgery. He was shot with silver bullets.‘

‘Let me know when he’s out.‘

“Kayce?” Allison says and I realize I’m growling.

“Camden shot Robin with silver bullets. That’s how he was able to get Nikki.”

I grab the phone, settling Allison in my lap, and I dial.

“Alpha Hunter.”

“Hunter! It’s Kayce. I need you and Lucas and some warriors over here right now! Robin is fighting for his life in my pack hospital and Nikki’s gone. She’s been kidnapped.”

Hunter POV

Dammit! I was just on the verge of celebrating my mate’s pregnancy when I got Kayce’s call.

“Hunter, what is it?” Sophie asks as I scramble out of bed and mind link Lucas.

‘Hunter?‘ he answers sleepily.

I hold up a hand to Sophie, letting her know I need her to wait.

‘I need you downstairs in two minutes. Robin’s been attacked, Nikki’s missing,‘ I tell him.

‘Camden?‘ he asks, much more alert.
