Chapter 501

“Let me know if you find him Also, do you think the other Alphas would have a problem with me inviting Calvin’s Beta, Anthony, to the Alpha meeting?” she asks.

“No, I think that’s a good idea, actually. But do you think that the pack is stable enough to leave with only Calvin’s Gamma?”

“I’m not sure. I’ll talk to Anthony,” she says.

“I’ll talk to Kayce and Dutton, too. We have Dante and Miles who are both established Betas and good men. Maybe we could send both of them up there for the weekend to watch over Calvin’s pack if Anthony decides to come,” I say.

“We’ll also need to send patrols ahead of time to make sure nothing like what happened to Calvin happens again,” Nikki says

“Agreed,” I say, looking back at Amelia. “We’ll check on you again later and if you need anything at all, please let anyone in the pack know. They can link us.”

“Thank you both, so much. I’m not sure what I would have done without the two of you and all of our allies,” she says.

“I think that’s the point. We’re all stronger together,” Nikki says, hugging her again.

We say our goodbyes, then Nikki and I head back to the packhouse.

Chapter 501

PAR Voucher

-There’s a lot going on, as usual, and lots of work to be done. However,

we get some good news in the early afternoon.

Brooklyn went into labor.

When we returned from the hospital, we met with Reese, Ezra, and the others who had interviewed Ezra’s pack members. Some were definitely nervous about going to a pack where they may need to rebuild or in Reese’s case, restructure. Mostly those individuals have young pups that they want to keep safe and healthy and many of those decided to join Lucas‘ pack. Those interested headed out with Lucas and Kinsley to visit their pack.

But there are others who were excited about the idea of being part of something new. Some of them began talking more seriously to Jake and Letti while others wanted to take another tour of Reese’s pack lands. Most of Aiden’s previous omegas already knew Reese from coming into our pack, so they’ve all agreed to return to their home and accept him as their Alpha.

Robin offered to lead the ceremony for Reese to officially become Alpha and to have his new pack members accept him. It was sad to lose the pack link with Reese, but I felt like a proud momma when I watched him go through the ceremony of becoming an Alpha.

Then, Robin, Ezra, Margot and I watched as all of Aiden’s previous omegas stepped forward and accepted him as their Alpha. Even some of Ezra’s previous pack members were willing to accept Reese now, knowing that they will be going to get their things and returning quickly to start their new lives.

Chapter 501

-When it was done, Reese walked over to us, looking a little shell-

shocked. “I guess it’s real now. I’m an Alpha and I have a pack to take care of When can ive start working on that community center? I need to be able to afford to feed my pack,” he says.

“About that. Nikki and I have a gift for you,” Robins says, handing him an envelope.

We’d already talked about it, and we knew we wanted to help Reese get started in his own pack. He and Robin afe more like brothers than anything, so it wasn’t a difficult decision to make.

“You’ll need to set up a pack account, like what we have in our pack Then you’ll want to set up accounts in all of the stores where you’ll need supplies. I would suggest doing that first, but in the meantime, Nikki is sending over enough food to keep you and your new pack members going for several days,” Robin tells him.

For the second time in two days, I thought my previous Beta was going to cry. Instead, he pulled Robin into a tight hug, the two murmuring to each other. I can feel my mate’s pride in Reese and his sadness at losing his Beta. It’s tough for me too.

“Now, we need you to get your shit off our pack lands so we can start figuring out what we’re going to do about assigning a new Beta,” Robin says, making them both laugh as they step back from the hug

“Yes, Alpha,” Reese says, smiling.

“Excuse me? What did you call me?” Robin asks him.

His smile widens. “Yes, Robin.”
