The Perfect Wife's Perfect Revenge novel Chapter 883

After all that fuss, it turned out Celia was just trying to wingman for her. Leonie quickly shook her head. "No, no, it's fine."

The handsome waiter was very perceptive. Seeing the two girls playfully pushing each other, he instantly caught on.

"If you're satisfied with the service, feel free to leave us a good review. You can also add me on Facebook. Next time you come in, I can reserve a VIP table for you in advance."

It was a flawless excuse, much smoother and harder to reject than just bluntly asking for a number.

So, Leonie pulled out her phone. Celia only made a symbolic gesture of checking hers.

The guy was incredibly tactful, only adding Leonie's account.

"Remember to save us a spot next time."

As they left, Celia threw out a teasing comment that made Leonie blush furiously.

Leonie's flush hadn't faded since they walked out of the restaurant. Celia was sharper than she let on. "Since you and Connor are going through a rough patch, there's no need to hang yourself on one tree."

Honestly, Celia wasn't necessarily pushing Leonie to seriously date the server. A change of pace and a new distraction were better than being depressed every day.

"Leonie, you treated us to dinner. How about we treat you to a lounge tonight? We haven't checked out the Greenvale nightlife yet."

Chris shot them a flat look.

"Can I skip the bar tonight?"

He hated loud, obnoxious environments. Celia looked so quiet and refined on the outside; he had no idea when she had developed a taste for those chaotic places.

Celia looked at Chris. "No way. If you go back without me, Gwyneth will definitely ask where I am. If she finds out I went to a club, she'll lecture me again. You have to come."

Celia practically shoved Chris into the car. The three of them piled into a luxurious black SUV. Standing by the restaurant entrance, the server watched them leave, his gaze dropping to the license plate.
