Before Callahan could even say a word, the "loving" couple was violently tearing into each other, slapping, scratching, and screaming in the middle of the hallway. It was a pathetic, ugly display.
Disgusted by the noise, Callahan snapped. He lashed out with his heavy combat boot, brutally kicking over the massive solid-wood table.
It crashed to the marble floor with an ear-splitting boom, shattering the expensive crystal decanters and sending shards of glass flying in every direction. The explosive sound instantly silenced the room. Everyone froze in sheer terror.
Callahan stared at the two trembling figures, his voice devoid of any human warmth. "Get them out of my sight. Now."
"Jarvis, escort them to the west wing. They are under your jurisdiction until I say otherwise."
The bodyguards didn't hesitate. They grabbed a weeping, limp Talbot and a thrashing, screaming Reese, hauling them toward the doors.
"You can't do this to me!" Reese shrieked over her shoulder. "I hope you burn in hell, Callahan!"
Unable to hold back her seething rage a second longer, Letty marched right up to Reese and delivered a vicious, open-handed slap across her face. The crack echoed sharply.
"Family?" Letty spat, her voice thick with tears and disgust. "You don't even deserve to speak that word. You sick psycho."
Reese glared at Letty, her cheek burning bright red. "Don't get too comfortable, Letty! I promise you, I will make you pay for that!"
But no matter how hard she fought, the bodyguards easily overpowered her, dragging her away like trash being taken to the curb.
