Chapter 268 Stands For Justice

Chapter 268 Stands For Justice

Meanwhile, the live stream chat was blowing up.

[Wait, those are her actual grandma and uncle?]

[The Nameless Healer is so heartless!]

[Yeah, she’s crazy good at medicine, but her morals are garbage

[She’s always been cold-hearted. Not surprised she’d pull something like this.]

[No wonder it’s so hard to get an appointment at Ms. Carter’s clinic. Turns out she just doesn’t treat poor people. I’m never going there again.]

[Let’s all boycott her clinic and see if she can still act all high and mighty.]

[Just canceled my appointment I made two weeks ago.]

Susie watched the live stream, the chat blowing up with hate for Hannah. After being pissed all day, she finally felt a little better.

She always thought Hannah was just a genius and the Nameless Healer, but who knew she was a top hacker too?

No matter how hard Susie tried, Hannah was always better, always stealing the spotlight.

Jealousy totally warped Susie’s mind. If she couldn’t outshine Hannah, she’d just tear her down.

And this was only the beginning.

“Tell the marketing accounts to start stirring things up, and get all the paid trolls moving,” Susie told the maid, Miriam.

Miriam, one of Eleanor’s most trusted maids, handed Susie a tablet. “It’s already underway.”

The tablet showed trending topics on Twitter, along with screenshots of articles from major media outlets.

[The Nameless Healer is heartless and even disowned her own grandmother.]

[Rumor has it Evelyn’s treatment killed someone.]

[Turns out the miracle doctor everyone worships is actually a fraud with terrible morals.]

[Doesn’t matter how skilled they are, stay away from this clinic if you value your life.]

The trending topic from yesterday, [Vulcan, Shadow, Raven, and the Nameless Healer are all the same person], was still hanging around on Twitter. The leftover buzz mixed with the new trending topics, and everyone clicked in to see what was up.

The posts came with three clips of Hannah driving Eleanor out, even pushing her.

A GIF of a young woman shoving an old lady was all it took to set the gossip-hungry netizens off, especially when that young woman was the Nameless Healer everyone idolized.

In just a few minutes, the hate exploded online.

Seeing the online uproar, Susie couldn’t wait and snapped at Milam, “Go check if all the recent appointments at Ms. Carter’ s clinic have been canceled yet!”

‘With all this hate flying around, that brand-new clinic of hers is bound to crash and burn overnight,’ Susie thought, feeling smug.

“Miss Susie, nothing’s changed. Actually, the waitlist just keeps getting longer,” Miriam replied, still tapping refresh on Hannah’s clinic booking app.

“This isn’t hitting hard enough. Let them rage online, but it’s not stopping anyone from lining up for appointments. We need to spread rumors that they killed a patient,” Susie said, so furious she could’ve ground her teeth to dust.

“Go now!” she snapped.

Meanwhile, at the clinic, things were getting interesting.

The moment Bertha saw Aurelia arrive, she instantly dropped her act. She shot up in a flash, not even needing anyone’s help, as if she’d never been on the floor at all.

“My dear granddaughter, you don’t need to worry about this. Let me handle it,” Aurelia said, gesturing for Hannah to step back.

Successfully unlocked!

Hannah was surprised, not only were Aurelia and Arthur here, b Dorian and Lucian had shown up too. All six members of the Scott family were present, standing together.

“Sis, Lucian said, stepping up to Hannah with admiration shining in his eyes. Then he turned to Aurelia and respectfully called out, “Grandma Evelyn.”

Evelyn looked a bit surprised, but then she smiled kindly and nodded.

“What brings all of you here?” Hannah asked.

“We were actually planning to surprise you, but ended up walking right into this mess. Don’t worry about it, let Grandma handle things, Arthur said.

“Yeah, only Grandma’s no-nonsense attitude can deal with these shameless types,’ Lucian chimed in.

Lucian couldn’t even find the words.’ Hannah thought, totally speechless.

Aurelia pointed straight at Felicity, who was about to help Bertha up, and barked, “You, come here!”

Felicity awkwardly pulled her hand back, ready to obey, but Bertha grabbed her arm. “Don’t go!”

“Yeah, don’t go! If you do, you’re not part of our family anymore! Razor shouted from where he was pinned to the floor, still trying to back up his mom.

‘Family means everything to Felicity,’ he thought.

Every time Razor wanted cash, he’d just drop that line and Felicity would fork over the money, no questions asked.

Just like always, Felicity stopped dead in her tracks.

Seeing this, Aurelia, totally fed up, swung her cane at Bertha. Bertha flinched and snatched her hand back, and Aurelia wasted no time yanking Felicity over, grumbling as she did.

“Stop being so useless! You ditched the Tholes ages ago, you’re one of us Scotts now!” Aurelia snapped.

Felicity stumbled as Aurelia yanked her over, nearly crashing into Hannah, who quickly steadied her. “Are you okay?” Hannah asked.

“Hannah, I’m so sorry. I should’ve handled this better. Mr. Carter I’m sorry,” Felicity said, her brows drawn in guilt, her eyes

rimmed with tears.

Hannah felt a pang of discomfort seeing her mom like this, so she softened her voice. “This isn’t your fault. You two should go inside.”

With that, she motioned for the nurses, Carolyn and Elaine, to help Evelyn and Felicity inside.

Seeing this, Bertha exploded, cursing at Felicity. “You worthless good-for-nothing! Get back here! After all the years I busted my back raising you, this is how you treat your own mother?”

“Oh, you’ve got some nerve, Bertha!” Aurelia shot back, one hand gripping her cane, the other on her hip.

“Back then, you demanded an outrageous sum, 30000 dollars in cash and a whole villa in the countryside as the bride price, just to sever all ties with your daughter forever.

“You even swore you’d never have anything to do with us again And now you dare come here and stir up trouble for my granddaughter?” she said.

Bertha tried to play dumb and deny it, but without missing a beat, Aurelia whipped out a copy of the old contract from her pocket and slapped it right onto Bertha’s forehead.

Every detail of that deal was laid out in black and white, clear as day, with signatures and fingerprints to make it official.

Bertha and Razor were instantly silenced, left totally speechless

30000 dollars was a huge deal twenty years ago, but back then. Bertha had no idea Felicity would end up giving the Scotts not just a genius son, but also a daughter who was basically a superstar.

Rumor had it, one of Hannah’s miracle drugs, so tiny it could fit en fingernail, just got auctioned off for a jaw-dropping 200 million dollars.

Compared to that kind of cash, that old 30000 dollars was chup change.

And to make it worse, Bertha didn’t even get to spend a single cent, Razor gambled it all away.

Now, Bertha was regretting it so much she could turn green.

With all the people Bertha had dragged over now whispering and shooting judgmental looks their way, she still tried to wriggle out of it. “Th-this…”

Aurelia cut her off instantly, not giving her a chance to make excuses.

“You know damn well how much money Felicity has secretly sent you over the years. Out of respect for our family ties, I just let it slide, figured she was basically tossing it to a bunch of dogs.

You never showed any gratitude, and now you come here making a scene, still expecting my granddaughter to support you? Ha! Go eat shit in the toilet!”

Her words were getting nastier by the second, Aurelia was letting it rip, not caring about her image at all. Dorian, though, still cared about keeping things dignified, so he stepped forward to rein her in.

He said, ‘Mom, don’t waste your breath on them. They’re out here smearing Hannah’s name. If they want to play dirty, don’t blame us for choosing justice over family, we’ll just hand them straight to the cops.

“What they did is a criminal insult, and by law, that could get them up to three years behind bars…

As soon as Bertha heard the word “behind bars, she panicked. She hurried to help Razor up, muttering, “Whatever let them have their way. Let’s just go!”

“Wait a second,” Hannah cut in coldly. “You think you can make a scene and just walk off like nothing happened?”

Hearing that, Christopher instantly grabbed Bertha, totally unfazed. He licked his lip ring, itching for chaos. “So, how do you want to play this? Dog poop or human waste?”

Hannah was speechless.

‘Is your brain only filled with this kind of gross stuff? Hannah thought, completely exasperated.

Hannah turned to the reporter who was still live-streaming. “Everyone’s been watching this mess long enough, it’s time they got the truth. Face the camera and come clean: who sent you here? If you don’t…
