Chapter 3111 Don’t Want Them
Chapter 311 I Don’t Want Them
“Yeah, either take the goods back or raise the price! You decide Gary chimed in.
Just because of something Hannah said, they lost more than half their customers in only two days.
On top of that, the Nameless Healer was offering six times the usual price for medicinal herbs, while Chloe was only paying three times. And last night, Chloe even shelled out twelve times the price to buy up the southern market!
Talk about missing out on the big score for a handful of peanuts. They really took a huge loss.
The more they thought about it, the more pissed off they got. So they joined forces with other suppliers who realized they’d gotten the short end of the stick too, and went to have it out with Chloe.
Chloe’s face went ghostly pale. ‘How did they find out I paid twelve times the price for the goods from the southern market?” she thought.
‘It must be that loudmouth from the south blabbing everywhere she fumed.
There was no way she could raise the price. She didn’t have that kind of money.
Chloe said seriously, “We already signed a contract. The price and quantity of the herbs are all clearly stated. There’s no way I’m raising the price!”
“If you don’t want to return the goods, then pay us twelve times the price!” one of them demanded.
“If twelve times is too much, at least match what the Nameless Healer is offering,” another supplier added.
“Yeah, prices have shot up! The folks gathering the herbs are all charging more now. The price you gave before won’t get you anything these days, someone else chimed in.
“If you won’t raise the price, I’m not sending you any more herbs. I’ll sell to the Nameless Healer first, and once prices drop, maybe I’ll supply you again,” another supplier threatened.
The suppliers all started talking at once, leaving Chloe with no room to argue.
The commotion scared off a bunch of customers, leaving only Mrs. Reese and her circle of longtime friends watching from
the sidelines.
Mrs. Reese’s face darkened as she snapped, “Do you think you can just mess with the Reese family’s partnership like that? Changing the terms on a whim?”
“Your prices are totally unfair! Are you just trying to rip us off?” che of the suppliers shot back.
Mrs. Reese was left speechless for a moment. She couldn’t deny it, Chloe really screwed up here.
“The Nameless Healer just posted again! They’re offering twenty times the going rate for fresh stock of hasma, turtle shells, cuttlefish bones, and white snail shells! Twenty times!” someone in the crowd shouted.
The suppliers all whipped out their phones. Sure enough, barely five minutes ago, the Nameless Healer had put up another buying post for herbs on the Heaven Medical Network forum.
Twenty times the market price!
The suppliers’ eyes went red with greed, and they started shouting and scrambling all over again.
“I’m not selling my herbs to you anymore! I want to return my goods. I’m taking them to the Nameless Healer instead!” one of them shouted.
“Exactly! You haven’t even paid me in full yet. I’m hauling my herbs over to the Nameless Healer!” another supplier chimed
“Return the goods! Return the goods!” the crowd started chanting.
Chloe’s heart was pounding. She was freaking out and thrilled a the same time. ‘Bet Hannah’s losing her mind right now since she can’t get any herbs even at six times the price!’ she glated.
‘With the Nameless Healer offering twenty times the price, I can finally unload all the stock I’ve been hoarding!’ she realized. ‘I might even make bank off this!’ Chloe thought, her excitement barely contained,
“Alright, twelve times the price for everyone! That’s my final offer no more raising the price after this!” Chloe shouted.
The two suppliers exchanged glances, then pulled the others aside for a quick discussion.
They were here to push for a higher price, not Successfully unlocked!’d already crossed the Nameless Healer, there
was no way he’d buy from them now.
Seeing Chloe agree to the price hike, they decided to take the deal and run. They pulled out the pre-written price increase contract and handed it over for Chloe to sign.
Not wanting them to keep causing a scene and ruin the Herbal Restaurant’s reputation, Chloe just skimmed the contract

and signed it.
Once the suppliers left, grinning with their signed contracts, Mr Reese finally looked a little less tense. Chloe told Mrs. Reese and her old friends to stick around so they could watch Hannah come crawling for herbs.
But the whole morning passed and Hannah was nowhere to be seen. Even Evelyn Carter had quietly slipped away at some point.
“So when’s this show supposed to start, anyway?” someone in the group grumbled, getting tired of waiting.
Mrs. Reese’s face was getting darker by the minute, clearly losing her patience. Worried she might storm off, Chloe quickly dialed Hannah’s number.
“Sorry, the number you dialed is powered off. Please try again later…”
‘Her phone’s off!’ Chloe thought, her heart sinking.
Not ready to give up, Chloe tried again, but it was still off.
She switched to another number and called Joe Jones, hoping he could pass the message along to Hannah.
But his phone was off too.
She tried calling Carolyn and Elaine, but their phones were all powered off.
Even Evelyn Carter’s phone was off.
‘What the hell is going on?’ Chloe thought, her anxiety spiking.
‘Why is everyone’s phone off?’ Chloe wondered, her nerves fraying.
When the calls wouldn’t go through, Chloe switched to texting. She fired off a bunch of messages, but got nothing back, not even a single reply.
Chloe wasn’t surprised the others ignored her, but Joe not replying? That was just odd.
‘No way Joe would just leave me hanging!’ Chloe thought, her stomach twisting.
Suddenly, a chill ran down her spine. ‘Wait, did they all block me she thought, panic creeping in.
“Mrs. Reese, my spa appointment’s coming up soon, so I’ll head out first.”
One of the ladies said, already getting up.
Once one person spoke up, the rest quickly found their own excuses and left.
“So this is the big show you talked up? You just wanted us all to sit here twiddling our thumbs?” Mrs. Reese demanded, her face dark as she shot Chloe a glare.
She’d brought her friends expecting some juicy drama, but instead of seeing Evelyn Carter get humiliated, they got played by the suppliers with jacked-up prices and ended up wasting half the day just sitting around.
Chloe tried to explain, “I honestly have no clue what Hannah’s doing right now…”
“If you can’t get rid of all those herbs you bought, you’ll have to eat the loss yourself!” Mrs. Reese snapped, then stormed off without another word.
Chloe’s face went pale, but she forced herself to stay cool. ‘Relax, it’s Hannah who should be freaking out right now, she told herself.
‘Just wait a little longer. Hannah will definitely come crawling fo herbs,’ Chloe thought, clinging to hope.
But even by nightfall, there was still no sign of Hannah. The next day came and went, nothing. And the day after that, still not a trace of her. For three days straight, Hannah was a total no show.
Chloe had finally had enough of waiting. She headed straight to Ms. Carter’s clinic herself.
“Hannah! Weren’t you the one offering twenty times the market price for hasma, turtle shells, cuttlefish bones, and white snail shells? Well, guess what, every last bit of fresh stock in the country is in my hands now!” Chloe announced, her tone dripping with smugness.
Hannah was sprawled out on the couch, casually flipping through a medical book. She didn’t even glance up, just answered in that same calm, detached voice, “Oh? And then?”
Chloe felt her blood boiling. ‘Why is she always so damn unfaze? It’s like nothing ever rattles her. She doesn’t even have any herbs left for her patients, and she still acts like she couldn care less! Chloe fumed inwardly.
“If you want these four herbs, I’m your only option now,” Chloe said, her confidence on full display.
“I don’t need them anymore,” Hannah said, her voice light and unconcerned.
“What?!” Chloe stared at her in disbelief, thinking she must’ve heard wrong.
Hannah set her book down, looked Chloe in the eye, and repeated with calm patience, “I said, I don’t want them anymore.”

‘She really just said she doesn’t want them anymore?’ Chloe thought, totally stunned.
Just then, a loud crack of thunder split the air outside, followed by a sudden downpour.
Chloe stood there like she’d been struck by lightning, her face ghost-white. “You, how can you just say you don’t want them?!
she blurted out, her voice shaking.
‘If she doesn’t want the herbs, what the hell am I supposed to do now?’ Chloe panicked, her mind spinning.
I’ve got billions worth of herbs just sitting here collecting dust, and now they’re completely useless to me!’ she realized, her heart sinking to the floor.
‘Am I really stuck with all this?’ she thought, panic rising in her chest.
Hannah just smirked. “I’ve already replaced those four herbs with something else, so I don’t need them anymore.”
Chloe was floored. ‘No way…
‘She swapped out those four herbs ages ago, but she was still out there posting buy requests?’ Chloe’s heart was pounding.
Suddenly, it all clicked. Chloe’s hand shook as she pointed at Hannah. “You, you did this on purpose! You raised the prices just to scam me into paying a fortune for those herbs!”
“Scam? Weren’t you the one who jacked up the price and bought those herbs yourself?” Hannah sneered.
Chloe was left speechless, shaking with anger, unable to get a word out.
“I told you. I can give you something, and I can take it back just as easily. You made your own choices, so don’t blame
anyone else,” Hannah said coldly. She picked up her book again, dismissing Chloe. “Get out. Don’t interrupt my reading.”
