Chapter 315 Another Annoying Admirer
Chapter 315 Another Annoying Admirer
Hannah’s reflexes were lightning quick. She flicked the needle between her fingers and blocked Percival’s scalpel just in time, stopping it from slicing through a nearby nerve.
“Thanks,” Percival said, his heart racing. He’d nearly messed everything up.
At the same time, he couldn’t help but be impressed by Hannah laser-sharp focus. He’d always prided himself on his concentration, but this sudden scare had rattled even him, while Hannah stayed cool as ice.
“Why’d you shove me?!” the female doctor blurted out, whipping around to confront the guy behind her.
The male doctor protested, looking hurt. “I didn’t push you!”
Someone whispered, “Shh, don’t mess with the Nameless Healer…”
“Out!” Hannah snapped, her voice cold and sharp.
The doctors all flinched, intimidated by the icy vibe she gave off
“Sorry, I didn’t mean it, please-” the female doctor pleaded.
“Anyone who moved, you’ve got one minute to get out. If you don’t leave on your own, don’t make me drag you out myself!” Hannah snapped.
The female doctor tried to explain, but Hannah cut her off before she could get a word in.
Hannah hated anyone interrupting her work, especially when she was working with the needle during surgery. Even Barnaby wouldn’t get a pass from her, let alone these strangers.
The onlookers exchanged nervous glances, worried they’d all get kicked out. They quickly shoved the five who’d moved earlier toward the door, making sure they left.
None of them wanted to go, and they all looked like they’d been blamed for nothing, but they had no choice but to leave. Darren was one of them. Seeing Hannah completely unfazed, he found himself grudgingly impressed by her composure, but at the same time, he was even more determined to prove himself.
The doctors who stayed behind didn’t dare move a muscle, barely even breathing, terrified they’d all get kicked out too. As time ticked by, the onlookers grew weary from standing, but Hannah never lost her focus, still completely absorbed in the surgery.
For someone so young to stay locked in for this long was pretty amazing, she was already proving herself.
Finally, the surgery was coming to an end. As Hannah pulled out the last needle, Percival noticed Dustin’s finger twitch, and then his eyelids gave a little flicker.
Percival couldn’t hide his excitement. “We did it!”
The doctors watching were in awe, all eager to step forward for closer look, but since Hannah didn’t say a word, nobody dared to budge.
Eric’s eyelids fluttered a few times before he slowly opened his eyes. Bathed in a bright white light, he could only make out a few blurry figures around him.
But one pair of eyes stood out, those mesmerizing, peach blossom eyes locked onto him, their dark pupils cool and mysterious. Her lashes were long and thick, each one perfectly defined. She was breathtakingly beautiful.
Just one look, and he knew he’d never forget her.

Barnaby went straight from the airport to Concord Hospital. Outside the operating room, besides Eric’s father Haiyang and his family, Christopher was there too.
While Eric’s parents anxiously paced back and forth in front of the door, Spencer was chilling on a bench, legs crossed, looking like he didn’t have a care in the world. Next to him was a huge bouquet of mystical blue roses.
Christopher sat right across from him, with a massive bunch of led roses by his side. The red and blue blooms were practically trying to outshine each other.
He kept checking his watch and glancing at the operating room loor, already picturing himself being the first to rush up and hand Hannah his bouquet the moment she fed ut

“Overconfident fools, all of you,” Barnaby said with a cold edge.
When he saw those two giant bouquets of roses sitting next to them, his eyes turned even frostier.
‘Those dogs are always trying to make a move on my girl the second I’m not here! Barnaby gritted his teeth.
“Barnaby!” David spotted Barnaby and hurried over, practically groveling as he greeted him.
Spencer and Christopher dropped their rivalry in a heartbeat, turning in perfect sync to stare at Barnaby. Now that was their true rival.
“How long has she been in there?” Barnaby asked, glancing at his watch.
David caught the irritation in his voice and replied cautiously, “Almost nine hours.”
Barnaby’s frown deepened.
David clammed up, worried he might piss Barnaby off enough to shut the whole thing down. He quietly slipped to the side, keeping his head down.
“Excuse me, is Hannah the little fairy doing surgery in this operating room?” Just then, a guy showed up, dragging a black suitcase and hugging a huge bouquet of white roses.
He had sharp, striking features, but his head of fluffy, permed curls gave him a total grandma vibe, soft and sweet. Barnaby glanced over at him, spotting the white roses in his arms, and his frown grew even deeper. ‘When did my girl attract another hopeless suitor?’ he thought.
Christopher saw the guy’s bouquet of white roses, just as big as his own, and instantly felt the threat. ‘Great, another rival for Hannah’s heart?’ he thought.
Christopher was just about to ask, “Who are you?” when Barnaby cut in, his voice icy: “No.”
Joel looked around in confusion, checked his phone again, then glanced at the people nearby. “Huh, that’s weird. Isn’t this the place? Didn’t they say it was here?” he muttered to himself.
With nobody bothering to answer, he simply turned around, pulled his suitcase, and walked off.
Christopher was confused.
He was too shocked to speak.
‘Seriously? That actually works?’ Christopher thought, stunned.
Spencer tutted. ‘Man, the rookie really needs to see how Barnaby can lie with a straight face.’
“Are you sure this isn’t the place? I saw it on the news, and even the cute nurse said it was here!” Joel only got a few steps before he turned around, sounding pretty sure of himself.
Spencer replied coolly, “Not here.”
Barnaby just gave him a look and said nothing.
Joel just shrugged and walked off, looking kind of bummed.
As soon as he left, the “In Surgery” light above the door turned off.
The door swung open, and Eric’s mother rushed forward, but Christopher squeezed past her.
He shoved the bouquet at the first person out. “You must be exhausted.”
But it was Percival who stepped out first, looking a little lost but still accepting the flowers. “Thanks, you really didn’t have to go to all this trouble-”
Before he could finish, Christopher realized he’d handed the flowers to the wrong person and yanked them back. “Not for you.”
Percival just stared at him, speechless.
Hannah was the second to come out, moving slowly from sheer exhaustion after more than nine hours of laser-sharp focus. She was both starving and worn out, if she hadn’t been interrupted, the surgery wouldn’t have dragged on this long. As soon as she stepped out, Christopher thrust a huge bouquet of red roses into her hands, his laid back smirk peeking out from behind the flowers.
She didn’t take them, and before she could even react, a massiv bunch of blue roses muscled the red ones aside and landed right in her arms.
“You worked hard, my star pupil,” Spencer said with a proud sm
Hannah was so wiped out, all she wanted was something to eat She pulled off her mask and asked, “Got anything to eat?” Spencer just stared at her, speechless.
Christopher was just as stunned, not sure what to say.

Well, that was not how I pictured this going… Spencer and Christopher both thought.
Barnaby, with a cold expression, brushed Spencer and Christopher aside, then swept Hannah up in his arms bridal-style and strode off without looking back.
“I brought you your favorite Hedy cake. It’s waiting in the car,” he said softly.
Hannah was so wiped out she didn’t even have the energy to protest, so she just let him carry her away
“How did the surgery go?” Eric’s mom finally found a chance to speak, her voice tight with worry.
“It was a success! The patient’s already awake, but he’s been out cold for ages, so it’ll take some time for him to fully come around. He’ll need to stay in the hospital for a while so we can keep an eye on him,” Percival said, trying to reassure

Hearing that, David’s parents couldn’t hold back their tears of joy. “That’s wonderful! Thank you! Thank you, Nameless
Healer!”
“No way, the nurse said this was the place!” Joel muttered, dragging his suitcase back over, still looking confused.
