Chapter 233 Chaos Erupts Inside the Station
Tristan stepped out from the hallway.
“Boss, about Evan…”
He lowered his voice and whispered quietly beside Leighton.

Theo silently stepped aside, instantly feeling a chilling sense of pressure all around him.

He glanced over and saw Leighton’s face clouded with terrifying gloom, his deep eyes filled with icy coldness.
“Take me to see Evan.”
Leighton spoke in an unemotional tone, yet his plain words sent a chill down everyone’s spine.
Those who knew him well were fully aware that the quieter Leighton acted, the worse fate awaited the person who had angered him.
“Take Mr. Pierce to meet Evan right away.” Seeing Leighton’s terrible mood, Theo knew for certain Evan was in huge trouble. He quickly waved and arranged for someone to lead the way.
It was sheer foolishness to pick fights, especially offending two young ladies whom no one dared to provoke in Seacrest.
Most of Evan’s followers were still unconscious after being hit by the medicinal powder, so the police had arranged all of them inside empty interrogation rooms to rest.

By the time Leighton arrived, many people had already shaken off the drug effects and woken up in a daze.
They stared blankly at the iron window bars, plain white ceilings, and two uniformed police officers sitting in front of them. Realizing where they were, every single one of them turned pale with fright.
Few among them had ever set foot in a police station before, and fear quickly crept over their hearts.
“Why are we locked up here?”
“I remember we were in the middle of a fight. That Sloan girl hits way too hard.”
“Why’d I suddenly drop? I swear I heard police sirens right before I passed out.”
“Who the hell called the cops anyway? Are they out of their mind?”
“Evan! Where’s Evan?”

Everyone started calling out anxiously, searching frantically for Evan. They had all gotten arrested purely because of him.
“This looks like Evan’s clothes… Oh my god!”
One girl screamed in shock the moment she caught sight of Evan’s swollen face, covered in rashes and bruises.
“What happened to him?”
The crowd instantly stepped back, keeping their distance in horror.
“Quiet! This isn’t a place for you to scream. If you’re awake, call your parents.”
The two police officers stared sternly at the noisy crowd and shouted sharply.
The room fell dead silent right away. Everyone took out their phones unwillingly to reach out to their families, feeling wronged and frustrated deep inside.
None of them expected attending a casual party would land them straight in custody, and they were still furious over whoever made the police call.
“Evan… Evan, wake up!”
Ryn mustered up his courage and shook Evan gently, trying his best to hold back his disgust.
Evan was the only one with a prominent status among them; the rest all came from small, insignificant families with no real influence.
“My face… it hurts so bad, and it’s unbearably itchy!”

Evan finally stirred awake, aching all over his body. Without thinking, he began scratching his face wildly. Soon, fresh blood streaks appeared all over his skin.
His face was already swollen beyond recognition and covered in painful rashes, and his reckless scratching ruined whatever good looks he used to have completely.
Some timid people could not even bear to look directly at him.
“Stop scratching! Your face is covered in rashes; you’ll scar yourself permanently!”
Ryn hurried forward and grabbed his wrists firmly to stop him.
Blood was already seeping out from beneath his fingernails, leaving his face in a terrible mess.
“You idiot! Go get a doctor for me right now!”

Evan’s eyes were too swollen to fully open. Recognizing Ryn beside him, he kicked out at him in rage.
Pain flashed across Ryn’s face, and he grew angry as well, deciding not to bother helping Evan any longer.
“Where the hell is everyone?! Fuck! You idiots, don’t know to get me to a hospital?! Get me a doctor!”
Evan flew into a violent fit of fury, shouting endlessly.
“Quiet!”
Seeing the situation turning chaotic, the two officers walked over and reprimanded him harshly.
“How dare you talk to me like this! Do you even know who I am?”
Evan stood up abruptly, ready to throw punches at them.
Yet the sharp pain in his legs struck him the second he moved. His already injured face drained pale instantly, and his lips trembled nonstop. He tried his best to open his swollen eyes wide and look around, only able to spot two figures in black.
Luka could not stand watching any longer and whispered a reminder.
“We’re inside the police station right now, Evan.”
“Who the fuck called the cops?!” Upon hearing those words, Evan’s anger flared up once again.
Before returning from overseas, his father had repeatedly warned him not to stir up trouble locally. The Hale family was no longer as powerful as they once were, and rebuilding their business connections in Seacrest would be extremely tough.
He shuddered in fear just thinking about how furious his father would be once he found out about this mess.
“Those two bitches! Did they call the cops?! Bring them here. I’m gonna fucking kill them!”
Evan roared at the top of his lungs without holding back.
His hoarse, furious shouts drifted straight over to Leighton and the others who had just reached the doorway.
Theo silently pitied Evan for a brief moment.
Everyone in their social circle knew this newly returned second son of the Hale family was spoiled, arrogant, and utterly incompetent. He had successfully managed to provoke the two
