Chapter 339 A Shocking Resemblance
Sam smiled at Zora’s soft, sweet greeting. His eyes looked warm and friendly.
He subtly shifted his gaze, fixing it on Zora’s eyes.
They looked exactly like his friend’s eyes.
When had his buddy secretly had a daughter this big? Their families had arranged this marriage ages ago.
There was no way his friend would abandon his own kid just to get out of the deal, right?

Zora could feel Sam staring at her, but she sensed no bad intent. She simply nodded at him politely.
“Mr. Sowell, let’s have a seat,” Leighton said.
He’d also noticed Sam staring at Zora far longer than normal.
“Sit down, Zora.”
The more Sam looked at her eyes, the stronger the similarity was. It was like they were molded from the exact same mold.
His serious face softened up without him even noticing.
Sam took his seat, and Zora sat down right next to Leighton.

She glanced at the full table of food. Every dish looked super tasty.
“Get anything you want to eat,” Leighton said gently.
Tristan, standing behind him, immediately handed Zora a menu.
For the rest of the meal, Zora focused on eating, while Leighton and Sam continued their business talk.
Leighton had been searching for a special chip material lately.
The Sowell family based in Yvenia specialized in this exact field. As soon as he heard Sam was coming back, Leighton had his assistant book this dinner on purpose.
“You’re incredibly impressive for your age, Mr. Pierce,” Sam said.
“This deal works great for both of us. I know you’ll deliver solid results. I’ll send the contract
over to you tomorrow.”

The dinner soon came to an end. Leighton and Zora stood up to walk Sam out.
Sam had a flight back to Yvenia that night.

Most of the deal details were already settled, so this meal was just Leighton sending him off nicely.
“Alright. I’ll have my assistant drive you.” Leighton smiled and nodded.
Sam’s words confirmed their contract was officially set.
Sam had originally planned to stall for two more days to negotiate a better price for himself.
But after seeing Zora, all his hesitation was gone.
This trip back wasn’t a waste at all-he’d found a huge surprise.
He now had something way more important to do: head back and pressure his friend for the truth.
How dare he hide having a daughter from him?! There was no way he could back out of their family engagement now!
Those eyes, that nose, that face… it was a perfect match!
How could his friend leave such a beautiful girl here alone all these years?
From their short chat during dinner, Sam had already learned a bit about Zora’s story.
She’d gotten lost as a kid and only reunited with her family earlier that year.
His old friend had been a total ladies’ man back in his youth. It was totally possible he’d messed up once and left a secret daughter behind.
“Zora, I’m really glad I got to meet you today.”
As the three of them walked outside, Sam forced a warm smile on his usually stern face.
Zora walked quietly and obediently beside Leighton.
Sam was almost certain this was his friend’s hidden daughter.
It meant she’d likely be his future family. He definitely didn’t want to scare her.
“Come visit Yvenia anytime. I’ll have my people show you around and treat you well.”
“Okay,” Zora answered softly.

Chapter 339 A Shocking Resemblance
She’d been confused all through dinner about why he wanted her to call him Sam, while Leighton still called him “Mr. Sowell”.
They walked downstairs, where the car was already waiting.
Tristan stepped forward and opened the car door for him.
Right before the car window shut completely, Sam took one last look at Zora.

She had a neat high ponytail, wearing a black knit top, a retro denim jacket, black wide-leg pants, and clean white sneakers-simple and comfy.
Her face was delicate and pretty, with bright eyes and a cute, straight nose.
She looked exactly like his old friend, no doubt about it.
After Sam left, Leighton and Zora got into the white Rolls-Royce Cullinan that had brought her there.
Ever since Wayne went missing, Zora always had a driver to pick her up and take her home.
Now that her bodyguard team was fully arranged, Aaron took over as her full-time driver.
“Leighton, I feel like Sam was staring at me the whole time.”
Leighton reached out and ruffled her hair gently.
“He’s just shocked at how pretty our Zora is.”
Still, he was confused deep down.
He’d definitely noticed Sam’s gaze kept drifting to Zora during dinner.
There was a faint, excited glint in his eyes-no bad intentions, just like he’d stumbled on a huge surprise.
Sam was an overseas businessman living in Yvenia.
His family’s company, YT Tech, was a top global tech giant and the leading supplier of intellectual property worldwide.
Leighton could tell Sam had originally planned to delay signing the contract for a few more days.
But one dinner with Zora around had completely changed his mind.
