Chapter 34 The One She Actually Came For
Cassia had already walked off when Eric and the driver finally got back in the car.
Eric stared at Draven, shocked. “Dude, you’re acting a little different today?”
“Stop talking. Drive. We’re running late.” Draven’s cool, deep voice floated from the back at
Eric turned his head, took one look at him, and thought silently. Something’s going on.
The driver heard Draven and carried out the order right away.
He started the engine right away, and the car sped smoothly toward the airport.

When Cassia reached the airport, Zach was already there. He wore sunglasses, a baseball cap pulled low, and even a mask. He stood in a quiet corner, trying hard not to be noticed.
He kept looking around, but he still didn’t see the person he was waiting for.
Just as he was about to lose it, his phone rang.
He pulled it out, checked the screen, and answered. Before she could speak, he gritted his teeth and said, “Miss Wood, I’m honored you finally remembered I exist.”
Cassia didn’t sound guilty at all. She simply said, “I ran into a small accident.”
“You what? Are you okay?” Zach instantly panicked.
“I’m fine. Oh, I see you. Stay there.” Cassia said while walking toward him.
Zach was one of the few friends she actually had.
But because of who he was, they rarely met in person.
Zach was the A–lister in the entertainment world. If fans recognized him, he would be swallowed by a crowd in seconds. That’s why he came in disguise, hiding like a criminal on the run.
Cassia stopped in front of him and gently tapped his shoulder.
Zach turned. His eyes lit up like sparks catching fire. He straightened instantly, energy returning to his whole body.
Then he pouted and said pitifully, “Cassia, I’ve been waiting forever.”
Even with a mask, his sharp good looks still showed.
He was tall, lean, and effortlessly stylish. His narrow, smiling eyes made him look friendly, even though he had a playful, carefree attitude most of the time.

“Be quiet.” Cassia rubbed her forehead. She really had no idea why this guy came. Didn’t he know the chaos he could cause?
If his fans found out, they’d probably flatten half of the city.
“Oh, come on. I just missed you,” Zach said pitifully.
“What are you doing here?” Cassia asked.
Isn’t he supposed to be in the middle of a world tour?
“Oh, I came to see you. And maybe hold a concert here. You know… for you. Are you rinse a grin.
he said with
“Go away.” Cassia’s head hurt already. She’d met him because of a song.
When she was in the mood, she sometimes wrote music. Once she wrote both the lyrics and the melody, gave it to Zach to sing, and the song blew up. Overnight, he became a superstar.
Later, Zach found out she was the songwriter. From that moment on, he clung to her like glue.
To be fair, he was loyal. And he had helped her many times.
“I’m not going anywhere.” Zach puffed up shamelessly. He knew she was joking anyway.
But the fact that Cassia came to pick him up herself was not what he expected. He felt flattered.
To him, Cassia was like a living legend. She was young but ridiculously gifted.
She could write lyrics, compose music, and play instruments–everything came naturally to her. He admired her so much it almost hurt.
She was full of surprise; he could spend a lifetime uncovering what she can do.
Cassia didn’t say anything else. She gave Zach a quick glance, then walked away.
Zach followed her like an excited puppy.
Draven happened to step inside the VIP entrance of the airport at that moment. He lifted his eyes for a second and saw Cassia. Of course, he also saw Zach following right behind her.
So she came to the airport to pick someone up.
