Cassia was cooking dinner in the kitchen, and Draven was helping her.

“You’re letting me sit here?”

Sterling looked up at him.

“Sit.”

He made room for him and even spoke to him on his own

Seven dropped into the seat beside Sterling, thrifted.

This felt different from before. In the past, even when they sat at the same table, there was always some

distance between them.

He had wanted to say something for a long time. Today, he finally couldn’t hold it in.

“Hehe, you’re cute and younger than me. I like calling you kid,” Seven said with a grin. As he spoke, he placed a piece of crab onto Sterling’s plate.

“Want me to crack it for you?” Seven asked.

Sterling stared at the crab on his plate.

But there was one problem: he didn’t know how to unshell it.

“Alright, alright. I’ll stop teasing you. I’ll help,” Seven said with a grin as he quickly cracked and peeled the crab.

“Here. Eat up. The dipping sauce is right here.”

Seeing such a clear change in Sterling, Cassia mood turned cheerful. Since Draven had brought red wine tonight, she let him pour her a glass as well.

Sterling stared at the red wine in front of Cassia and the way she took a sip. It looked really good.

While Cassia wasn’t paying attention, he quietly picked up her glass and took a small sip.

“Blargghh!”

Cassia turned at the sound and saw Sterling holding her glass, his face scrunched up, tongue sticking out in disgust.

She frowned slightly, took the glass from his hands, and set it back on the table.
