Chapter 410 Adorable
Chapter 410 Adorable
Could it be… that she and this man are actually…
The movie had already started, and the lights in the theater dimmed.
Draven was still talking to Cassia.
“Now that the SAT is over, what are you planning to do this summer?”
“I’m thinking of taking Sterling out for a while. Maybe travel around.”
For Sterling’s sake, Cassia had put together a simple summer plan.

Ever since he was diagnosed with autism, Sterling had shut himself inside his room and never stepped outside Zrario again.
So Cassia wanted to take him to see the vast landscapes of Sahar–let him experience the world a little. And maybe, give herself a
break too.
“Where are you planning to go?” Draven asked.
Cassia tilted her head slightly again and accidentally brushed the tip of Draven’s nose.
For a moment, both of them froze.
It was the first time they had made physical contact while fully conscious of it.
Cassia stared at the man’s sharply sculpted, high–bridged nose, her brows knitting faintly.
“I haven’t decided yet.”
Draven lowered his gaze halfway, staring at Cassia’s small nose.
That was the spot. It had just touched his.
There was a faint tingling sensation–numb, a little ticklish.
“Then come to Vrastin,” Draven suggested,
“Vrastin?”
Cassia was puzzled. Why would Draven suggest that place?
“I’m planning to head back to Vrastin in June. And…”
Draven paused for two seconds, then looked straight at Cassia. “My family’s been pressuring me to get married. They’re insisting bring a girlfriend home. Otherwise, they’ll start setting me up on blind dates.”
Cassia caught on immediately. Draven wanted to take her there this summer and have her pretend to be his girlfriend.
“I don’t mind. But if we get exposed, don’t blame me.”
She agreed to go to Vrastin for two reasons. One, she had promised to help Draven before.

And two, Vrastin was a prosperous, first–tier city. Taking Sterling there would broaden his horizons.
“We won’t get exposed,” Draven said firmly.
Hearing the deep certainty in his voice, Cassia turned to look at him again.

Just then, the screen dimmed suddenly, casting the theater into deeper shadow. In the low light, his already dark eyes seemed even more unreadable.
Yet within that darkness, there was a faint glimmer. And in that glimmer, Cassia saw her own reflection.
Gradually, the screen brightened again. She could see more clearly now–she was truly there in his eyes.
It was the same look he had given her when he promised to help clear up the piano incident.
Burning, clear, without a trace of impurity.
Cassia quietly withdrew her gaze, lowering her eyes halfway.
She had always known that in this world, no one was good to someone without reason, and no one was cruel without cause.
Draven … seems a little too good to me.
Just as Cassia was lost in thought, the man’s well–defined hand suddenly reached out in front of her.
Cassia blinked and turned to look at Draven.
The way the girl looked at him–unguarded, almost defenseless–was completely different from her usual cold composure. At this moment, she was like a startled kitten.
How adorable.
That stark contrast made Draven’s heart ache in a way he couldn’t quite handle.
If the timing weren’t wrong, he would have already packed her up, taken her home, and married her, hidden her away properly.
For the rest of his life, he would belong only to her–and she, only to him.
“What is it?” Cassia asked in confusion.
Draven snapped out of his thoughts. His gaze shifted to the hand she was using to hold the cashews.
That was when Cassia remembered when he had gone to the restroom earlier, he’d handed her the cashews and asked her to hold them for him.
“Oh.”
Cassia placed her hand into Draven’s,
Before she could pull away, Draven moved faster and wrapped his hand around hers.
One hadn’t withdrawn in time, and the other had deliberately caught her quickly. Just like that, in the instant of contact, Cassia’s slender fingers were enclosed in Draven’s large palm.
