Chapter 493 Reckless and Kind of Stupid
Suddenly, a guy asked, “I wonder how Cassia did on the exam. She’s always ranked first–what score did she get?”
As soon as he said that, the rest of the class joined the discussion.
“Yeah, I’m curious too. Between Cassia and Brie, who scored higher?”
“She usually ranks above Brie in school exams. She probably scored even higher this time, right?”

Hearing everyone shift their attention to Cassia, Brie’s face instantly darkened.
Even her impressive 1408 score couldn’t overcome the jealousy and resentment she felt toward Cassia.
“Well,” she said sweetly, “if I hadn’t heard the proctors say that Cassia only answered the first few questions on every test pape would’ve believed her score would definitely be higher than mine.”
Brie had always been skilled at steering conversations, easily pushing the spotlight onto someone else.
“What? You heard the proctors say she only answered the first part of every test?”
“Mm–hmm.” Brie nodded. “She finished each exam really fast–about ten minutes–and then spent the rest of the time sleeping
her desk.”
The class gasped.
Was Cassia really taking the SAT that lightly? Did she really think she was guaranteed to get into college?
Brie lifted a finger to her lips, pretending to think. “But honestly, even if Cassia doesn’t get into college, it probably won’t matter. Her family is rich enough to send her anyway. I guess that’s why she dared to do that.”
The students were stunned by how strange Cassia’s behavior sounded.
If what Brie said was true, it,did make sense–but even if money could buy a spot at some private college, what was the point?
That would only mean attending some low–tier college and ruining her own future.
Cassia was being reckless… and also kind of stupid.
Some students felt sorry for her foolish choice, some were disappointed in her, and others quietly mocked her.
Watching their reactions, Brie smiled inwardly.
Nice. This would make their opinion of Cassia even worse.
After all, she had only told the truth. She was willing to bet Cassia wouldn’t get into college at all.
If Cassia still got into college after this, she’d be eating her own words.
After the graduation ceremony, Brie happily returned to the Wood Manor.

At Dunstino Bay-
“Mr. Grey, the private jet is ready. It can take off anytime,” Seven said as he entered Draven’s room, just as Draven was finishin phone call.
“Is the presidential suite arranged?” Draven leaned lightly against the bed, tapping the windowsill with his fingers.
“Yes. The floors above and below her room have also been booked.”
That way, Cassia wouldn’t be disturbed at all.
“And make sure her wardrobe is filled with the newest seasonal collections from every major brand…”
Hearing this, Seven clicked his tongue, feeling like he had walked in at the wrong moment.
He stood quietly to the side and only spoke after the call ended. “Mr. Grey, your private jet has already flown in from Vrastin. Everything else is set up too.”
After finishing his report, Seven grinned.
“Heh… that kid has never been on a plane before. I wonder if he’ll be scared.”
Draven rubbed his chin while listening, but his gaze had already drifted toward the condominium building across the way.
“Mr. Grey? Mr. Grey?”
Seven waved a hand, feeling like he had just been talking to a statue.
“Ms. Wood just returned from the graduation ceremony at Zrario High,” he added.
The moment he heard Cassia’s name, Draven finally reacted.
He noticed the curtains in her place were still closed.
She wasn’t home.
“She went out?”
“Yes. As soon as Ms. Wood got back, she took the kid to the mall.”
“You didn’t go with them?” Draven asked. “Don’t you like tagging along with Sterling?”
“It’s not that I like it–I just worry about him.”
Draven gave him a sharp, sideways look.
“Then why didn’t you go this time?”
“I can’t follow them around all the time, right? The siblings need their own space once in a while.”
That’s what Seven said out loud, but inside he felt restless.
Truthfully, though, he really wanted to go.

“Hey, Mr. Grey, why don’t we head over and take a look? Even though Vance is still locked up, someone from the Woods might ti to cause trouble for Ms. Wood.”
“You just want to go, don’t you?” Draven said.
Seven raised an eyebrow. “And you don’t?”
Half an hour later, an ordinary–looking black car pulled up along the road outside Citywalk Mall.
“Hold on, let me track the kid’s location.”
A moment later, he grinned.
“What a coincidence! They’re at this mall.”
Just as he finished speaking, Cassia and Sterling walked out of the mall and came into view.
