“Are you insane? This is a crime!” Charlie shouted angrily as he shielded Rosalie and helped her into the car.

Seeing Rosalie safely inside the Lincoln, Cassia blinked once and turned her attention back to the two men.

Charlie quickly jumped into the driver’s seat and started the engine.

“Wait! Cassia is still outside! What about her?” Rosalie shouted.

Charlie slammed the steering wheel in frustration. “Damn it…”

“Call my dad! Hurry!” Rosalie urged.

“Yes, Ms. Scott!”

Meanwhile, Nathan and Bryan were still laughing wildly, reaching out to drag Cassia away.

“Why’s this girl just staring blankly? What, scared stiff?”
