“Hmph!” Hugo let out a heavy, defiant snort.

Seeing that Hugo wasn’t the least bit intimidated by Richard, Cassia teased lightly, “Looks like you’re too soft on people You have 10 authority at all, huh?”
Richard did not know what to say.
seriously, she still had the mood to joke about him at a time like this? As if she herself wasn’t just as easygoing with people she
new.
So what do we do now?”
Cassia glanced at the cans of gasoline hidden in the grass. “Lock Hugo up. Take the gasoline away, too.”
fter saying that, she stretched lazily again and turned, heading toward the villa area overlooking the sea.
I’m going back to rest. You handle the rest.”
Got it.”
Richard grabbed Hugo tightly by both wrists, yanked him up in one motion, and dragged him away.
‘he next day.
even pulled the curtains open. Sunlight reflected off the vast blue ocean and streamed into the room, accompanied by a gentle ea breeze. The water was shimmering beautifully in the sun.
Mm, bright sunshine, perfect weather. What a great day to head out.”
¡even stretched comfortably, loosening up his body.
raven finished washing up and stepped out of the bathroom, zipping up his jacket as he walked.
lis well–defined hands–one holding the hem of his jacket, the other gripping the zipper–slowly pulled it up.
ven such a simple motion looked effortlessly cool when he did it.
jood–looking people made everything look pleasing.
He had broad shoulders, a narrow waist, and a perfectly proportioned inverted triangle physique. His casual sportswear, once pose, was now filled out perfectly, making him look even more striking.
Yo, Mr. Grey, you’re dressed in sportswear. Are you planning to go hiking with Ms. Cassia?”
Seven took one look at him and didn’t even need to guess what he had planned today.
After all, he had told him to prepare things yesterday.
After zipping up, Draven glanced at Seven.
‘Everything ready?”

Seven patted the canvas bag slung over his shoulder. “All set.”

Inside were bottled water and other supplies needed for hiking. After Cassia mentioned yesterday that she wanted to check out the back hills of Chesthale Peak, Draven had immediately told Seven to prepare.
“Good. Cassia and Rosalie are meeting at nine. At eight–thirty, we’ll go find her.” Draven raised his wrist and checked the time.
Just past seven.
Maybe the thought of going out with her made him a little excited, so that was why he had gotten up early.
‘Roger that.”
Seven sat down. With nothing to do while waiting, he casually started scrolling through his phone.
The moment he opened the news, a flashy pop–up appeared.
‘Ugh, another trash ad!” Seven was about to close it, but paused when he caught sight of the headline.
‘What the hell? ‘Scott Group CEO’s loyal lover image collapses! The Laurent heiress rushes overnight to Zrario to catch the mistress‘?”
Normally, he wouldn’t care about such a dramatic headline, but beneath it was a photo.
The image was blurred, but Seven could tell it was the image of a man and a woman standing together, their eyes covered with
black bars.
The censored man was definitely Richard. As for the woman…
Seven tapped the image, zoomed in, and stared carefully.
The more he looked, the more she resembled Cassia.
“No way…”
Seven opened the article and skimmed through it quickly. “Holy shit!”
“What’s wrong with you?” Draven was sitting on the bed, reading the novel Cassia had posted the night before.
He had been fully immersed in the plot, only to be abruptly dragged out by Seven’s outburst.
Anyone would’ve been startled.
Draven wasn’t that easily shaken, but the interruption still annoyed him.
“Mr. Grey, look at this latest business news!”
Seven jumped up and rushed over, shoving the phone into Draven’s hands.
Draven followed where he pointed.
“The girl in the photo is Ms. Cassia! Is she Richard’s mistress?”
Seven panicked, running a hand through his hair.

How could she be like this? Richard was a married man! How could she get involved like that?
And besides, Mr. Grey was better looking than Richard. Plus, he came from a stronger background and was far wealthier! How could he possibly lose to that middle–aged CEO? Why would she choose him?
Draven took one look at the photo and immediately knew it was nonsense.
“It’s just a normal picture. If you stood next to a female friend, it would look the same.”
Seven froze, then brought the phone closer to his face.
“Now that I look at it again… Yeah, they’re not even close to each other. There’s no intimacy at all. There’s clearly some distance between them!”
Draven pressed his lips together, his expression calm. However, a cold smirk tugged at the corner of his mouth.
“You’ve met her before. Don’t you know what kind of person she is?”
Then, he shot Seven a sharp look.
“You’re apologizing to her later.”
The temperature in the room seemed to drop instantly. Even with sunlight pouring in from outside, it couldn’t dispel the chilling aura radiating from him.
