Nathan’s bad habit resurfaced. He narrowed his beady eyes, shamelessly roaming over Cassia’s pale legs and slender arms.

Draven noticed the man’s malicious gaze and narrowed his eyes.

“Keep looking, and I’ll gouge your eyes out.” Cassia stopped in front of the ranger, her eyes slightly narrowed as she looked at Nathan.

He flinched at her gaze, but seeing her slim frame, he dismissed her threat as nothing more than a bluff.
