Chapter 556 Where Are You?
When Vance imagined becoming in–laws with Mr. Wilcox, his face lit up with excitement.
By the time Cassia woke from her nap, they were already back in Zrario.

She felt a cozy warmth wrapped around her. Looking down, she realized Draven Grey’s sports jacket was draped over her legs
The car drove into Dunstino Bay and stopped right in front of her apartment building.
Cassia handed the jacket back to Draven, thanked him briefly, and stepped out of the car.
Seven called out from the driver’s seat, holding out a bag of barbecue.
“Ms. Wood, I won’t be going up. Can you pass this to Sterling for me?”
He had prepared it especially for Sterling the night before.
He hasn’t seen us in two days. I wonder if he’s been eating properly…

Cassia glanced at the menu, looking totally bored.

Aspen struggled to keep the conversation going, but hearing about Vrastin gave him something to ask about.
“You’re going to Vrastin? What for?” he asked.
“That has nothing to do with you.”
Cassia’s cold response made Aspen feel a little hurt.
The conversation ended right there.
‘Waiter, two cappuccinos, please,” Aspen ordered, then checked his phone.
Mike had just texted him, saying he was caught in traffic and would arrive in five minutes.
Five minutes was manageable. He just needed to stall.
‘Are you going to Vrastin for fun? Are you taking Sterling with you?” Aspen wasn’t giving up, desperately trying to keep the smal
talk alive.
‘Yeah,” Cassia replied flatly.
Another long, heavy silence followed.
Soon, the coffee was served.
‘You didn’t call me here just to buy me a coffee, did you?” Cassia said, eyeing the cup in front of her. “If you really wanted to trea me, you could’ve just taken me to Lennox Hotel. They just launched a new coffee line there.”
Aspen didn’t know how to respond. If he told her the truth, she would leave immediately.
At the very least, he had to make sure she met Mike.
Just as Aspen was nervously waiting, Cassia’s phone rang. It was Draven.
“Where are you?”
“East Coast Café”
“What’re you doing there?”
Draven was on his way back to Dunstino Bay and had stopped at a red light.
He remembered that Lennox Hotel had its own coffee shop.
“Aspen asked me to come,” Cassia replied.
“Why would he ask you there?”

While they were talking, Draven received another call from his father.
It kept ringing, clearly urgent.
“I have an incoming call from my dad. I need to take this.”
“Okay, I’ll hang up then.”
After ending the call, Cassia picked up her coffee and took a sip.
The waiter saw her drink and immediately made a phone call.
“She’s drunk the coffee.”
“Good. Mr. Wilcox is almost there. Everything is going according to plan.”
Inside the car, Draven answered Ned’s call.
‘Dad, what’s up?”
‘Grey Group’s stock just took a massive hit. We lost 100 million in one hour. Find out what’s going on immediately!”
That was it?
Draven frowned slightly in annoyance.
He had been enjoying his conversation with Cassia, only for his father to interrupt him like this.
t ruined his mood.
‘Fine, I got it. I’ll look into it right away.”
Back in the private room, Aspen received a message from Mike saying he had arrived.
Since this was supposed to be a blind date, he figured it was best not to stick around and play third wheel.
I’m going to the restroom. Don’t leave yet. I really do have something important to tell you.”
Aspen didn’t like lying to Cassia, but then he thought of Vance’s instructions…
