The woman on the bed suddenly realized that Tad, a team captain who had made it to the finals, couldn’t even beat a girl and didn’t truly care about her at all.
Memories of how Urban had treated her, the way he’d doted on her, flooded her mind, and regret hit her hard.
How had she let herself end up in bed with Tad over just a “Not Tonight” skin?
Compared to that, Urban was so much better.
She hurried to her feet and reached for Urban’s arm, only for him to shake her off harshly.
“U–Urban, I-”
“We’re done.”
Urban looked at her coldly. There wasn’t a trace of emotion left in his voice or expression.
Seeing that, she panicked.
“How can you be like this? We’ve been together for years. How can you just stop loving me like that?”
“My feelings for you…”
Urban lifted his eyes and looked at her one last time, then gave a faint, bitter smile.
“You destroyed them yourself.”
From this moment on, they were strangers. No ties, no connection.
Sometimes, no matter how deep the love is, it can’t survive betrayal and hurt.
So never take someone’s love for granted.
If you love, love fully.
If you don’t, don’t hurt them.
Cassia and the others were already impatient with how long Urban was dragging this out.
For a gold digger like her, what was there to hold onto? It wasn’t like she was the only woman in the world.
Cassia pulled the door open and walked out without a second thought.
After saying his piece, Urban saw her leave and immediately turned to follow her out.
The other three threw the woman a few cold looks before silently leaving the room as well, catching up to Cassia and Urban
The woman was left standing there alone, stunned, unable to even cry.

The five of them returned to the club.
Worried that Urban might still be shaken from the breakup, Isaiah suggested they all grab some KFC for lunch. His treat.
“Hell, yeah!” Ashley and Ernest cheered.
They’d just gotten back at Tad and that gold digger, and now, the captain was treating them. It couldn’t get better than this.
At that moment, Cassia’s phone rang.
She glanced at the screen. It was Draven.
“Hello?”
“Tonight at 7 p.m., we’re meeting my family. Wear the dress I gave you. I’ll come pick you up.”
His voice was as smooth as ever, and Cassia couldn’t help the small smile that curved her lips.
“Okay.”
Draven waited for her to hang up first.
His sharp hearing picked up the voices of several unfamiliar men in the background.
She wasn’t the type to sit still. It was her first time in Vrastin. Of course, she’d want to explore the city.
Still, those guys sounded awfully close, like they were sitting right next to her.
“Where are you?” Draven asked, unable to help himself.
“At KFC near RE Club.” Cassia picked up a golden, crispy fry, dipped it in ketchup, and took a bite.
Not bad.
Draven listened to the soft, faint crunch of her chewing through the phone, his fingers tapping lightly against the armrest of his chair.
RE Club wasn’t far from his company.
“With friends?” he asked again.
“Yeah.”
Draven guessed it was probably that male friend she’d mentioned before when they were at the docks.
“The moment you stepped into Vrastin, you became my girlfriend.”
He didn’t want to be stuck in his office. He wanted to take her out, show her around, eat good food together
“Once I’m done with work, I’ll take you out for a drive this afternoon.”
Cassia knew Vrastin was Grey Group’s territory. There were eyes everywhere.
Draven was probably worried she’d stay too close to Urban and the others and expose their take relationship.
