“O–Obscura?! No wonder in that Duo Hunters match, Ernest and I were already sure we were done for, and she still turned it around all by herself!
“Especially that move, controlling two followers to attack at the same time! I’ve been playing professionally for a long time, and I’ve never seen anything like that. First time I’ve ever seen Dream Witch played like that. It was insane!” Ernest was so hyped that he looked like he could sprint laps around KFC, staring at Cassia with starry eyes full of admiration.
“Of course, my mentor’s amazing! I learned a ton of my hunter tricks from her. Right, Cassia?” Urban puffed up with pride and nudged Cassia with his elbow.
Cassia took a sip of her soda and picked up her burger.
She didn’t respond because, to her, that had just been basic play. Nothing worth bragging about.
But her indifference only made the others think she was acting like a true top–tier pro.
Ernest leaned in and whispered to Isaiah, “Captain, you were right. Obscura is kinda eccentric…”
“Shh, don’t talk,” Isaiah whispered back, sneaking a glance at Cassia as he spoke.
Cassia ate her burger, occasionally grabbing a fry and popping it into her mouth.
Whew… looks like Obscura doesn’t care.
Her temperament is unpredictable. No one can guess what she’ll do next or what she’s thinking.
If we accidentally annoy her and she refuses to help us in the Abyss tournament, we’ll be done for.
Sure, she has a strange personality, but with her level of skill, she’s earned that right.
Cassia quietly finished her burger.
“Burp.” I’m full.
Just as she wiped her mouth with a napkin, five men walked into KFC.
Leading them was Tad.
So that’s why he rushed out of the hotel earlier. He went to call backup.
They marched in aggressively, like they had smoke and fire trailing behind them, radiating arrogance.
“Were you guys the ones who messed with Tad?”
“This is a public place. What are you trying to do?”
Seeing that they came with bad intentions, Urban quickly stood up and stepped in front of Cassia. “What, you wanna fight? As long as you’re not afraid of getting disqualified, we’re ready anytime!” The other three stood up as well. Ernest rolled up his sleeves, flexing what little muscle he had

Chapter 591 Absolute Confidence
There were strict rules in place. Cyclone wasn’t stupid enough to actually start a fight here.
“Fight? We’d get dirty just beating you.”
“If you’re pros, then settle it in the game!”

“Come on, let’s PK! Didn’t you say that if you lose, you’ll drop out of the tournament? You only have 4 people anyway, not even enough for a full team. Why even compete? You’re gonna lose anyway. Might as well save yourselves the embarrassment. Hahahaf
“Damn it! If you hadn’t poached Clement and Tobias from us, you wouldn’t even have the chance to act this cocky!” Ernest shot back, fists clenched, face flushed.
“Clement and Tobias? Even here, they’re just subs. Who’d want your players? We’re aiming for the championship.”
Amid the heated back–and–forth, Cassia’s voice cut in, sharp and out of place. “And what if you lose?”
The room went quiet. Everyone turned to look at her.
Cassia calmly sipped her soda.
Even drinking cola, she somehow carried the same elegance as someone sipping fine tea.
“Lose?”
The Cyclone players exchanged looks, then burst into laughter.
“We’ve never even considered that. Because we won’t lose.”
“Oh? Then let me think about it for you.” Cassia turned slightly in her chair, resting her cheek against her hand, legs crossed, a faint smile playing on her lips as she looked at them.
“What’s that supposed to mean? You think we’ll lose?”
Tad frowned at her.
They’d been arguing like hell, and she’d just sat there drinking soda as if nothing mattered. Now she was saying something this outrageous.
He couldn’t help but wonder again. Is she really Obscura?
No matter how annoyed he was, he couldn’t ignore reality. She’d caught him in 28 seconds earlier. That kind of skill wasn’t something to take lightly.
