‘Can you just talk to her?” Eddie asked.

‘Yeah.”

Rianne gave a strained response. Eddie could sense her discomfort through the phone. Truth be told, he had zero experience with women and had no idea what to say.

And so… his mouth ran ahead of his brain.

‘I’m sorry about the night before last,” he blurted out. “I should have stopped when I saw you crying.”

She was already struggling to stay composed, but hearing him say that out loud made her temperature skyrocket.

Over in Falvaria, Abraham was currently keeping Stella company. Stella had lost her picky appetite and seemed much softer and more relaxed lately.

Receiving Eddie’s call, Abraham’s tone was laced with irritation. “This had better be important.”

For years, Eddie’s unfiltered mouth had been a source of great pain for Abraham. Now that Eddie had finally chased a woman to Yalvoria, Abraham didn’t want that voice popping back into his life. To put it simply, that man’s mouth was as annoying as it got.

“What’s with the attitude?” Eddie asked. “I’m just calling to ask a question.”

“Ask what?” Abraham’s tone didn’t improve. Knowing Eddie, even a simple question would likely be something nonsensical.

“Well… if you make a woman angry in bed, how are you supposed to coax her?”

Stella, who was busy eating, froze. Her eyes lit up as she looked at Abraham.

Previously, she and Tessa only had suspicions about Rianne and Eddie. Now, this phone call had practically confirmed everything.

“Is there something wrong with your brain?” Abraham snapped. Was that really a question he was asking?

“I just… I don’t know what to do, so I…”

“Figure it out yourself!”

Asking for advice on bedroom matters? The man wasn’t just eccentric; he was missing a few screws. Abraham hung up immediately. He had always thought Eddie was a bit slow, but this confirmed he was a total lost cause.

Stella looked at Abraham with sparkling eyes. “What did Eddie ask? What did he mean? Did something really happen between them at our wedding?”

This was huge. If they had really crossed that line, Eddie and Tempest were going to have a serious showdown.

But it didn’t matter. With a sister like Evie on Eddie’s side, Tempest wouldn’t win that fight even if he worked himself into a stroke.

“Most likely, something happened,” Abraham noted.

“That’s wonderful! This is the best news I’ve heard all day,” Stella chimed in.

“You’re that happy to see Tempest suffer?”

“Of course! I’m absolutely thrilled, okay?” Stella smirked. “That dog Tempest can’t even distinguish between his sister and his wife. He doesn’t deserve a wife. Let him stay single for the rest of his life.”

Knowing how Tempest had handled the situation with Ariana–letting Rianne suffer so much–Stella held a massive grudge against him.

“Oh? We should probably have Abel look into who tampered with things at our wedding,” Stella added. “If the wine was spiked, we need to find out which idiot was responsible.”

Even though the outcome was something they were happy to see, the security breach still needed to be addressed. This time it turned out well, but what if something disastrous had happened?

“I already have Astor looking into it,” Abraham replied.

“Astor? Why not Abel?”
