The Rose He Showed Off Is Putting Down Roots in a Garden of Her Own novel Chapter 259

She watched as Zane selected an incredibly intimidating device.

He took a sanitizing wipe and began meticulously cleaning it.

Elara felt like she was going to pass out.

"Z-Zane, let's... let's not..."

"We can... we can just leave it at this... it's fine."

Zane didn't look the least bit embarrassed. "No one else is ever going to use these. It'd be a shame to just let them gather dust."

Elara wanted to scramble off the bed. Who cares if they gathered dust?!

"Zane... I really don't want to use that."

Zane was still casually wiping it down. "These things were designed for a reason. You should at least give it a try. If you hate it, we'll never use it again."

"But... I don't want to try."

"Be a good girl. How do you know you won't like it if you don't even try?"

Zane finished prepping The Prototype.

Mortified, Elara grabbed the thin duvet and yanked it completely over her head.

Zane finally noticed her panic. "Are you shy?"

Elara's voice was muffled through the heavy fabric. "I'm not shy. I'm a fearless warrior ready to brave the fires of hell."

"It's just a little toy. How does that make you a warrior?" Zane laughed.

He gently peeled the duvet away from her face. "Are you shy or are you scared?"

Elara's voice went incredibly soft. "I don't want to use it."

"Why?" Zane looked genuinely confused. "Sebastian stocked these himself. The quality should be top-tier."

Elara finally blurted out, "It's huge. I'm a little scared of it."

Zane looked utterly bewildered. "I picked this size specifically. It's not as big as me."

Elara wanted to murder him.

She absolutely refused to have this conversation.

"Zane, please just let me go. I'm begging you."

Hmm?

"Let you go? You don't want to keep going?"
