Chapter 43: Fighting For Honor
Jinx’s P.O.V.
“What was that? You want to get nasty, baby?”
The f***k did I just fu.cking hear?
Jesus f***k, I was gone for two fu.cking minutes! Already my girl is getting hounded. Back home it’s easy to keep people away from her. The only ones interested in Deidra are my brothers. Everyone else sees her as the town orphan or whatever rumor Sophie spread about her. My brothers have tried on numerous occasions to hit on Deidra and I always shut them down. Now,
everyone knows the score, no matter how unfair it is.
But we’re not fu.cking home, are we?
“Take your goddamn hands off of now,” I heard Deidra say, making me see fu.cking red. My feet were moving faster than my head could keep up. Not that I fu.cking cared. Someone put their hands on my woman. They’re going to pay.
“I’m going to kick your a.sses if you don’t back the f***k up. And my ol‘ man will make you wish you would have listened to me.”
“Ol‘ man? Like your father?” one of the guys standing way too close to my woman said. I could see one of them with his hand around her wrist as she tried to pull away. The other had his hand on the wall next to her. They were blocking her in. Deidra was glaring murderous daggers at the two of them too, not the least bit intimidated by them. It was fu.cking hot, but I was fu.cking fuming.
“Nah, not her father,” I said, standing behind them. “Her fu.cking husband.”
The two guys turned their heads to look at me. The smirks quickly dropped from their faces when they saw me. Their faces paled when they saw my cut. They were frozen in place. Which, unfortunately for them, meant they still held my girl captive.
“Get your fu.cking hands off my wife,” I demanded angrily.
“Sh–she’s your wife?” The one on the left stuttered.
“She came on to us, man!” The other rushed out.
“Excuse me!?” Deidra practically screeched. She took advantage of their stunned state and ripped her wrist free. Then, much to my surprise, her knee came up, connecting with the guy on the right’s nut–sack. He fell to the ground, cupping his balls. The other guy backed away when he saw Deidra going for him next.
“Fu.cking… bit.ch,” the one she hit choked out.

*The f***k you just say?” I spat, looking at him.
“She’s… a fu.cking who.ore,” he pushed out. “I should fu.cking smack her for this sh.it… just
because we hit on her? Fu.ckin‘ psycho!”
I crouched down, getting in his face.
“Darren, why’d you have to fu.cking say anything?” his friend hissed at him.
“You just fu.cking threaten my ol‘ lady?” I asked, my voice calm and dangerous.
“She’s a fu.cking cu.nt,” he spat at me. “Fu.cking killed my nuts all ‘cause I hit on her?”
“You grabbed me and I told you both to let me go! You a.sshole!” Deidra yelled from behind me, but
my focus was on the man.
“You don’t know much about bikers, do you?” I asked him. He shook his head, clearly starting to second guess his little tantrum. Too late. “Well, here’s a tip for you,” I said as I stood back up. “You don’t ever disrespect us or our own. And you never, ever fu.cking touch a woman after she told y’all
to back off.”
Then, without warning or hesitation, I pulled my fist back and decked him in the side of the head. He wobbled, falling onto his side. And then I started kicking him. Not a fu.cking care in the fu.cking world. I’ll go to jail for my girl. The club will get me out. We protect our own, and this little sh.it has me fu.cked up if he thinks he can lay his hands on my woman and get away with it.
“Jesus, Brixton, stop!” Deidra yelled, but I didn’t listen. Not until her arms were wrapped around me. I had enough sense to know that I didn’t want to hurt her by accident. So I did what she wanted and stopped. The guy laid on the floor, whimpering and bleeding. I scoffed at how pathetic he was.
I’ve taken worse beatings than that.
“Fu.ckin‘ p****y,” I spat.
“Brixton, let’s just go,” Deidra said, her voice full of worry as she pulled my arm.
I looked at the guy I just beat up and his friend that was trying to help him now.
“I ever catch either of you around again… you’ll regret it,” I warned them.
Without waiting for a response, I let Deidra pull me out of the café. She was muttering about how the police were probably on their way as she rushed to the car. I was too stunned, too angry, but Deidra just kept going on and on about how dumb and crazy and foolish that was. Oh, and how I cost her those cupcakes she was looking forward to. All I kept thinking about were the way they had her trapped and the fact that she kept trying to get away. It kept festering inside me. I barely even noticed it when Deidra took the keys right out of my pocket. I was on autopilot as I got into the car.
“Do you even realize what you just did?” She asked once she started driving down the street. “The

cops probably got called. The café probably has cameras. You’re so lucky we aren’t from around here. That might be the only thing saving you right now. Your cut is going to be a problem now though. Which sucks because you seriously look so damn hot in it.”
I finally looked at her. Her eyes were on the road as she rumbled on about how dumb but hot all of
that was. She was saying something about staying in for the next few days, or some sh.it. I’m not really sure honestly.
“You’re not… like freaked out or mad?” I blurted.
Deidra furrowed her brow as her eyes flickered to me for a moment.
“Oh, I’m mad,‘ she replied. “I had it handled. You didn’t have to do that. Am I freaked out? No. It doesn’t really surprise me. I know how protective bikers can be. I once saw your dad break a bar stool over another man’s head over your mom. I was like 12, I think. Dad was taking me out for our father–daughter thing we did monthly. He took me to the clubhouse, actually. It was the only other time I’d been there aside from when Waylen was sick. They invited Dad over for a family BBQ. Mom had to work. Your dad did that within the first hour we were there.” She rambled while I gawked at her.
“Where the hell was I?” I asked, not really expecting her to know the answer.
“Pretty sure you were locked in an intense make–out session with Holly Masterson,” she grumbled, rolling her eyes at the memory.
Again, I just gawked at her.
“You shouldn’t have done that, Brix,” she said yet again as we pulled onto the road her cabin is on.
“They weren’t letting you go, I ground out, frowning out the windshield.
“I had it handled,” she mumbled.
“They had you fu.cking trapped,” I spat, getting angrier. “They touched you. They touched what’s mine.” Then I looked at her as she turned into the little driveway beside her cabin. “And you are mine, Deidra. I don’t fu.cking care if you think it’s fake or not. You’re mine to protect. I don’t fu.cking care if you could handle sh.it on your own either. They’re lucky I didn’t fu.cking do worse just for having the audacity to even talk to you.”
Deidra threw the gear–shaft into park and turned her body to face me. Her hazel eyes are blazing with heat and… I don’t know what the hell that is. She looks fu.cking hot though. I just want to take her inside and throw her on her bed and bury myself in her completely. Physically, mentally, and emotionally.
“Okay, you can’t keep doing this to me,” she finally said, confusing me.
“Beating people up for you?” I asked, confused.

“What? No, I don’t care about that,” she replied. “Well, I do. I don’t want you getting hurt or going to
jail, but I meant about you calling me Deidra. At this point, when you use my name, it makes me
feel like you’re upset with me. So, unless you are, just stick to fu.cking flowers.”
I blinked at her.
“You’re upset I called you by your name? Not anything else?” I asked incredulously.
“Oh, no,” she replied as she turned the car off and grabbed her purse from the back. “I’m
unbelievably turned on right now, Brixton.” She stated. “I want you to come inside so I can keep my
promise to you before we go have dinner with your family.”
“Your promise…?” I asked, my voice trailing off as the words settled in my brain.
Deidra looked at me with a playful look that I’d never seen before. It was fu.cking se.xy. It had me perking right up, all my anger completely forgotten. With a simple fu.cking look. I’m crumbling for
this woman.
“Brixton,” she said as she leaned closer to me. “Come inside so I can show you just how grateful I
am for you standing up for me. And just how excited seeing you get all protective–ness made me.”
“R–really?” I breathed out.
“Come inside and find out,” she replied before throwing her door open and getting out.
I watched her walk to the door and unlock it. She looked back at me, gesturing with her head to
follow her. My hand was on the door handle in a second. Then my feet were carrying me to her.
She left the door wide open for me. When I got there, she was shrugging out of her coat with her
back to me. She threw me a look over her shoulder before turning around. She leaned against the
side of the chair and beckoned me to her with her fingers.
The jolt of excitement that shot through me was unreal. My co.ck sprung to life, knowing what was about to come. My body moved on its own, stepping in and closing the door behind me. The air
between us was charged. I couldn’t rip my eyes away from her.
Am I really this excited to get my d***k sucked by Deidra Hartman?
