The Stand-In Who Burned the Script novel Chapter 100

Chapter 100

Her movements just now had been a bit wild, so her clothes were now slightly disheveled. The view of her chest was half-hidden, peeking out seductively.

She possessed a unique aura, hard to pin down.

It hovered somewhere between mysterious and alluring.

The personality she occasionally showed was a mix of playful and straightforward.

A fleeting wave of heat rushed through Silas’s chest. His Adam’s apple bobbed as his deep voice rumbled, “I hate trouble, and I despise troublesome women even more. If you’re smart you’ll put away your little schemes and stop humiliating yourself.”

As they brushed past each other, the woman grabbed his arm.

They stood there, neither turning back.

“If you’re so afraid of my schemes, doesn’t that mean… Mr. Sterling has absolutely no resistance against me?”

Silas scoffed, saying nothing.

He went downstairs.

Simon was waiting anxiously downstairs. Hearing footsteps, he quickly stood up.

He turned and saw the tall man approaching, his dark eyes like black holes, revealing zero

emotion.

Simon’s eyes lit up. Miss Fairchild was right, she did have excellent taste. Even with similar clothes, today’s outfit amplified the boss’s aura tenfold, except…

He looked even more unapproachable now.

Simon nervously snapped back to reality. “Boss.”

The man cast a glance in his direction. “Go report to finance later. Half your bonus is docked this month.”

“…” Oh.

So, was he supposed to let Miss Fairchild wake him up from now on, or not?

It seemed he wasn’t entirely against it?

By the time Vivian took her time getting ready and went downstairs, Silas and Simon had

aiready finished breakfast and left.

Mrs. Gable poked her head out of the kitchen, smiling as she greeted, “Good morning, Miss Fairchild.”

Vivian replied nonchalantly, “Morning.”

On the dining table, the plates they had used were still there, while a fresh portion was set neatly to the side, still steaming.

“Mrs. Gable.”

“Yes, Miss? What do you need?”

Vivian sat down, slowly picking up her sandwich. “Could you please clear out the room on the left side of the master bedroom? Throw away everything inside and replace it with new stuff.”

“Huh?”

Mrs. Gable was stunned. “But…”

That was Miss Grace Gifford’s room!

If she just threw everything away, what if Sir got angry?

Vivian easily saw through Mrs. Gable’s concerns. Right in front of her, she dialed Silas’s number.

“Hello.”

His deep, melodic voice came through, and Vivian put it on speaker.

“I want to stay in the room on the left of the master bedroom.”

“Suit yourself.”
