Chapter 101
Vivian smiled as the money hit her account, immediately transferring fifty thousand dollars to Martha Gable. “Martha, once you throw those old things out, see what essentials we need and restock them. Keep whatever is left over.”
“This…”
Fifty grand was no small sum!
Martha hesitated. “Miss, maybe you should buy them yourself? I wouldn’t even know how to spend this much.”
Vivian’s smile blossomed, radiant and stunning. “How could you not know? Just look around at what’s missing and buy the most expensive options. Keep the change. I’ll tell Mr. Sterling it was my idea.”
She rubbed her chin. “And all those things we’re throwing out… they’re completely useless to me. If you can use them, just have someone haul them away, Martha.”
They were supposedly “old,” but they looked practically brand new.
Besides, nothing at The Southwood Estate came cheap.
Even selling them secondhand would fetch a small fortune.
Martha’s eyes lit up. Without any reason to refuse, she thanked Vivian profusely.
“Go ahead and get busy. Ask property management for help with the heavy lifting.”
Vivian smiled and headed to the walk-in closet to change.
Barging into a man’s territory out of nowhere was bound to feel invasive on some level.
But Martha was different. She had worked here for years and intimately understood Silas’s social circle. Getting on her good side was a smart move.
Vivian caught a cab to the Astra Media office, arriving precisely at nine.
After the morning meeting, Zoe Hunt gave her routine schedule briefing.
“Miss, we’ve wrapped up the commercial shoot. The sponsors are hosting a celebration tonight and sent an invitation. Do you want to go?”
“A celebration?”
It sounded so terribly formal.
Vivian licked her lips. “They probably invited a massive crowd. Let’s go. It’ll be a good show.”
After finishing her usual workday, Vivian visited a nearby styling studio. A casually picked
dress and effortless makeup were all it took to amplify her breathtaking beauty.

Zoe drove her to the venue and checked the time.
“Should I come pick you up at nine-thirty, Miss?”
Based on a standard party timeline, she’d be heading to the afterparty by then.
Vivian’s gaze landed on a familiar Porsche Cayenne parked nearby. Her red lips curled into a smirk.
“No need. Go home and get some rest.”
Since her billionaire husband was already here, why make Zoe work overtime?
The sharp click of her heels echoed through the parking garage. The moment Vivian appeared, she commanded almost everyone’s attention.
She wore a champagne-colored gown with a draped cowl neck and sleeveless design. It was a notoriously difficult dress to pull off.
Yet on her, it fit like a dream. Her dark, voluminous waves cascaded over her shoulders, accentuating her luminous skin and seductive charm.
