Chapter 162
He put down his fork and let out a dramatic sigh. “You probably know how tough our industry is right now. Those two trial ads you ran last time still haven’t shown any results.”
Vivian had reviewed the metrics that afternoon.
If the numbers hadn’t been terrible, they wouldn’t be having this dinner tonight.
“Then you need to help us think of a solution, Harry.” She smiled, topping off his wine glass/ before clinking hers against it. “You see, with zero traction, we can’t exactly give our brand partners a solid answer.”
“Your business is my business, Vivian. Of course, it’s not a problem!”
Up this close, the woman’s radiant complexion was flawless.
Flushed from the wine, her features took on a soft, rosy hue. Her exquisite eyes, nose, and lips-everything about her radiated a captivating, bewitching charm.
Harrison stared, completely mesmerized, subconsciously sliding closer to her.
“But Vivian…”
“Hmm?”
“Look, it’s going to take a lot of effort for me to drive traffic your way. Don’t you think you should find a way to repay me?”
Just as he was inches away from her face, a flash of coldness swept past Vivian’s eyes. She raised a hand to push his face away, speaking in a joking tone. “You must be kidding, Harry. Harrison was so stirred up by her teasing that he could barely speak straight.
“You… you can probably tell. I really like you.”

Seeing how receptive she seemed, Harrison stopped beating around the bush. He draped an arm over the back of Vivian’s chair, a posture that made them look intimately close.
“And then, as long as you’re with me, you get to call all the shots.”
He reached out to tilt her chin. “With my status, it’s a win-win for you.”
Vivian glanced at the wine on the table.
It was a full bottle of red, and Harrison had downed most of it.
He wasn’t completely hammered, but he was definitely tipsy.

She curled her lips into a smile, picking up the second bottle to pour him another massive glass. “It definitely sounds like a win-win. So… shouldn’t you show your sincerity? Drink this.”
Harrison eyed the brimming glass and gulped.
But a stunning woman was right beside him.
If he backed out and lost face now, how was he supposed to get her into bed later?
Gritting his teeth, he grabbed the glass and downed it in one go.
After finishing the drink, Harrison seemed completely uninhibited, constantly reaching out to grope Vivian.
Vivian kept a smile plastered on her face, but the depths of her eyes turned icy cold, freezing
over.
She shot a glance at Zoe.
Zoe caught the hint immediately and stood up. “Excuse me, Harry. I need to step out to return
