Chapter 183
The man on the hospital bed was sprawled out, fast asleep and utterly lacking in grace.
Richard frowned and barked, “Do you know what time it is?! Silas came all this way to see
you, get up!”
The shout nearly jolted Harrison out of his skin. He thrashed for a second before instinctively sitting up.
He looked around in a daze. “What? What’s going on?”
Blinking the sleep from his eyes, he realized the room was full of people. And there was a gorgeous woman… Gorgeous?
Harrison’s eyes widened, completely ignoring everyone else in the room. He pointed a finger at Vivian, stumbling out of bed as he slurred, “You actually dared to show up? Fine, whatever. Sleep with me and I’ll let this whole thing slide. Hah, you…”
“Silence!”

Getting beaten to a pulp and still thinking about getting laid? Richard was furious at his son’s absolute incompetence. He swatted Harrison’s pointing hand away.
Pointing like an idiot-he clearly hadn’t even registered who he was talking to!
“Silas came to see you. Is that how you behave?”
Harrison stiffened. He finally noticed the imposing man standing next to the woman. The man at the helm of Sterling Enterprises, Silas Sterling.
He blinked, his sleep-addled brain short-circuiting.
Why were the two of them here together?

apologize.”
“Vivian, apologize.”
Countless men, including the creep standing right in front of her, always tried to call her by cute nicknames to get close.
But him.
He always used her full first name, straight to the point.
Yet when her name rolled off his tongue, it carried an inexplicable intimacy, making it sound… deeply affectionate and seductive.
Vivian loved hearing his voice in all its forms.
She suppressed the amused curve of her lips and replied obediently.
“I’m sorry.”
“You…”
Harrison instinctively wanted to throw out a crude, flirting remark, but he was wide awake now. With Silas standing right there, he knew better than to run his mouth.
What did he just say?
His woman?
Vivian was his woman?
Then what did that make him?
A cold, calculating look passed over Harrison’s eyes as he scrutinized her. “Since she’s Mr. Sterling’s woman, then this is obviously a massive misunderstanding. I’m not that petty. Besides, that night…”
He gave a sleazy smirk. “Nothing even happened anyway, right, Miss Fairchild?”
Vivian lowered her eyes, standing obediently a half-step behind Silas.
Looking like this, she seemed the picture of innocence.
An absolute angel.
