Chapter 184
Richard assumed Silas wanted to discuss business. A shrewd glimmer flashed in his eyes as he chuckled, “We’re all friends here. Let’s talk details over dinner tonight. There’s no rush.”
“Oh, I insist.”
The man offered a faint smile, though the warmth didn’t reach his eyes.
He lifted his elegant hand, giving a lazy flick of his fingers like a general signaling a strike.
“Simon, show Chairman Fowler that interesting video you found.”
“Yes, sir.”
Simon pulled out a tablet and hit play.
Silas’s seemingly relaxed gaze turned razor-sharp as he spoke softly, “The parts of the story your son conveniently left out are all right here. I’d say this is more than enough evidence for
a lawsuit.”
Vivian tilted her head slightly, her gaze following the screen.
It was security footage taken through the window, capturing the center of the private dining
room.
The moment Zoe stepped out to take a call, Harrison tried to put his hands on Vivian. She backed away, refusing him, her face a mask of panic and fear.
But her resistance only seemed to excite Harrison more.
He forcibly grabbed Vivian, pulling her in for a kiss.
She shook her head wildly, dodging his advances. Her lips moved in what looked like desperate pleas as she scrambled backward.
Harrison was completely unfazed, sliding his hand straight for her waist.
The two struggled and pushed until they tumbled out of the camera’s frame.
The video ended there.
The hospital room fell dead silent, the only sound being Harrison’s heavy, ragged breathing.
Vivian let out a quiet sigh of relief. Her eyes swept over everyone’s faces before she quickly lowered her gaze, reaching out to gently tug on Silas’s sleeve.
He turned his head, meeting her fragile, dependent stare.
“That’s fake! That’s impossible… I didn’t even do anything to her!”
Harrison shook his head frantically.

The bruises on his face were still fresh, making his frantic denial look completely absurd
A dangerous curve formed on Silas’s lips, his voice slow and deliberate. “Are you implying I forged this video to frame you?”
This seemed to hand Harrison the perfect excuse.
“Yes!”
He nodded aggressively, his face etched with panic. “You definitely set me up! First, you sent this bitch to frame me, and then you…”
Smack!
A sharp slap whipped Harrison’s face to the side.
“Enough!”
Richard glared at his son, barely keeping a lid on his erupting fury. “Haven’t you embarrassed yourself enough?! You…”
He pointed a trembling finger at the idiot, wanting to scream but knowing he had an audience. He had to save whatever shred of dignity was left.
