Chapter 72
“Get the hell away from me!”
The woman’s voice trembled with terror, but she fought back with everything she had.
The men surrounding her let out sleazy chuckles, and one of them actually started unbuckling his belt.
To them, her screams meant nothing. It was all just part of the thrill, a twisted foreplay now that they had her cornered.
With her luminous skin and stunning curves, she was an absolute prize.
Getting their hands on a woman like that was worth whatever risk came with it.
The disgusting barrage of filth was more than Vivian Fairchild could stomach. She let out a scoff, closed the distance in two quick strides, and swung her arm with bruising force.
The closest man was sent flying sideways like a discarded ragdoll.
The sudden violence left the entire group frozen in shock.
“You have a death wish, bitch?”
The thugs erupted in fury, but the moment their eyes landed on Vivian’s gorgeous face, their anger immediately morphed into something far more predatory.
“Well, well… looks like this little lady wants to join the fun. Come on over, there’s plenty of us to go around.”
Vivian glanced down at the stunned woman on the ground. “Are you going to get up or what?”
Scarlett Sinclair took a shaky breath, clutching her torn clothes as she scrambled to her feet.
Seeing that the woman was relatively unharmed, a faint smile touched Vivian’s eyes. “Step aside and watch me teach these bastards a lesson.”
Scarlett stared blankly at her rescuer’s striking face, momentarily forgetting how to breathe.
Five street thugs. It took barely any effort to leave all of them groaning in agony on the pavement.
Vivian dusted off her hands, towering over the mess. She cast a disgusted glare at the writhing men before turning back to the woman.
“Let’s go. I’ll drop you off wherever you live.”
Scarlett snapped back to reality, her expression slightly awkward.
“Are you going to leave your baseball bat?”

Vivian arched an eyebrow. “It’s dirty now.”
Fair enough.
“Then I’ll buy you a new one.” Scarlett’s gaze swept over the thugs on the ground, her eyes as cold as ice. “Consider today a favor. If you ever need anything, just say the word.”
She spoke with the undeniable, effortless confidence of a wealthy heiress.
Vivian didn’t refuse. Once they were safely in the car, they exchanged names and numbers.
“You don’t strike me as someone who gets pushed around, Ms. Sinclair. How did you end up cornered by those creeps?”
The adrenaline from the altercation had completely sobered Scarlett up. Despite her disheveled clothes and messy state, her radiant, fierce aura was impossible to hide.
She crossed her arms and let out a sharp scoff. “If I hadn’t taken a whim to walk home, those losers wouldn’t have even gotten within ten feet of me.”
The more she thought about it, the angrier she got. “Next time I see those animals,” she ground out through clenched teeth, “I’m going to rip them to shreds.”
Once she started venting, she couldn’t stop.
Scarlett cursed a blue streak for the entire drive.
They finally arrived at Marina Bay Villas. She hopped out of the car, knocked on the passenger window, and lifted her chin proudly. “I never owe anyone a favor. Remember, you need anything, you call me.”
The way she delivered the line sounded straight out of a billionaire boss’s playbook.
Vivian smiled. “There will definitely be a day for that.”
Neither of them expected that day to come around so quickly.
Back at work, the studio schedule had been finalized, and the next step was shooting the
actual sets.
