Chapter 25 Magic at Home
Laurel was left speechless. Shy? Only three? Did Alice even hear what she was saying?
After the tour ended, Laurel suggested a renovation plan.

Alice immediately turned to Marvin and Esmond and said eagerly, “You two move faster. I want to sleep in my new place tonight.”
The two handsome men nodded obediently and immediately got to work.
Then something incredible happened.
Esmond placed both hands on the ground, brown light glowing from his palms. A thick tree
from burst straight up from the earth, while rocks seemed to respond to his call and rolled up the ground.
Marvin stood nearby as gray wind gathered in his hands and formed sharp blades. In an instant, the massive tree was cut down.
The wind blades scattered again, slicing the trunk into smooth, even wooden planks.
Next, Marvin controlled the blades to shape stone and wood into furniture and kitchen tools identical to the ones in Laurel’s cave.
Once everything was finished, he thoughtfully summoned a strong gust to sweep all the stone fragments and wood chips outside the cave.
After that, the other mates naturally split up their tasks, laying flooring, arranging furniture, and crafting small decorations.
Laurel was completely stunned. She couldn’t find the words. This felt like magic straight out of a fantasy world.
Then what had Sebastian’s hard manual labor been? And what about her broom and mop back home?
“Alice … your mates are incredible. They can actually use magic!”
“Huh? Magic? What’s that?” Alice looked confused at first, then grew smug. “But yes, they are impressive. Esmond’s spirit-summoning ability is pretty rare.”
“Spirit summoning? Is that the light on his hands?” Laurel asked curiously.

Alice looked at her like she was clueless.

“Wow. So after losing your memory, Sebastian really didn’t explain anything to you? Are you sure he treats you well? What they just used were abilities. There are water, ice, fire, lightning, wind, beast command, spirit summoning, light-based powers, and the mental soothing ability unique to females. Every beastman has one ability. The higher a male’s talent, the stronger his power. Take Esmond. He’s a five-star Earth Tier spirit summoner who can call stone, trees, and plants. Marvin controls wind and uses wind blades. His ability is extremely lethal. I didn’t choose my mates randomly. You need at least one of each ability. Even for daily life, it’s convenient. And Danny has ice abilities. During the hot season, the ice he makes keeps the cave cool. Plus, he’s a one-star Imperial Tier and can even form ice blades. He’s amazing.”
After saying that, Alice cast a charming glance at her mates. Today really made her look good.
She made a decision on the spot. Tonight, those three would stay with her.
Sensing their matriarch’s invitation, the three mates felt their hearts stir and nodded in silent
agreement.
Laurel nodded repeatedly in admiration. “Alice, I never knew your mates were this powerful. That’s incredible.”
Alice looked at Laurel, then at Sebastian’s darkening expression, and asked suspiciously, “Laurel, don’t tell me you still don’t know how strong Sebastian is?”
“Huh? Sebastian has an ability too?”
Alice burst out laughing, joined by all her mates.
The one laughing the hardest was Danny.
He never expected his close friend to get caught off guard like this. The feeling was unbelievably satisfying.
Danny explained loudly, “Sebastian is a five-star Imperial Tier beastman, the strongest Fenfrost warrior in all of Runeveil Forest. We both have ice abilities, but his power is far greater. He can form ice blades and ice shields. Both offense and defense. Nothing gets past him.”
“What? Seriously? Sebastian, you’re that strong? Why didn’t you ever tell me you had abilities?” Laurel exclaimed. Her clear eyes sparkled with admiration as she looked at him.
Sebastian felt thoroughly pleased by her praise, his mood lifting instantly.
He rubbed her long hair gently and said warmly, “It wasn’t really important.”

Inside, he was full of regret. He had used this ability since childhood and taken it for granted. Showing it off never even crossed his mind.
He had completely forgotten that Laurel had lost her memory and knew nothing about the rules of the beast world.
He felt deeply regretful for not explaining his ice ability earlier. He had almost been outshined by others.
After helping Alice finish decorating her cave, the two said their goodbyes and left.
As dusk settled, Laurel’s imagination ran wild. She buried herself in Sebastian’s fluffy silver fur, twirling the soft hair at the tips of his ears with her fingers.
“Sebastian,” she said sweetly, dragging out the sound as her nose brushed against the cool fur at his snout. “Make it snow a little more.”
“Okay.” Indulgence rippled through Sebastian’s blue eyes. As he lowered his head, his breath turned into white mist under the moonlight, crystallizing into fine snow that landed in the little female’s open palm.
By early morning, the melting wolf-shaped snow figure at the cave entrance was still wearing a berry necklace. She had tied it on quietly while Sebastian was dozing, a secret gift.
“Let’s do something special!” Laurel suddenly popped up from the pile of fur, waving a coconut shell in front of Sebastian.
Sebastian’s ears twitched gently as he watched her mash coconut flesh and berries into a pink paste. His tail unconsciously swept slow arcs across the ground.
