Read The Transactional Marriage That Imploded novel Bianca and Mathis Chapter 122 by Ansel Bick
"Fine."
Bianca added him back and opened the document he sent. It was completely different from the one Hector Goodwin had drafted previously.
In the agreement, Mathis gave her all of his shares in Stellaride Computing, Progenix Tech, and a top luxury brand—an absolutely terrifying market value.
On top of that, there was a villa near the Austin Tech Hub and a nine-figure sum in cash.
The only conditions were that she must permanently conceal their marriage and could not sell the Begonia House.
Bianca agreed to all the terms. She was quite surprised by his generosity.
It seemed he was going to great lengths to pave the way for Cynthia.
His favoritism couldn't be more obvious.
But none of that mattered to her anymore. With Mathis protecting Cynthia, she would never be able to lay a finger on the other woman in this lifetime.
Things in this world rarely went exactly as one hoped, and securing this outcome was already good enough.
Over the phone, they coordinated the signing date. They agreed that after the October long weekend, Bianca would return to Kingsbridge City to finalize the paperwork at the courthouse.
She made one last request. "Can you stop sabotaging my brother's company?"
"Done."
"Thank you." She could finally reunite with Jax.
"I wish you happiness," Mathis added.
"Yeah, you too," Bianca replied.
No arguments, no begging. They simply reached an agreement to become strangers.
Hanging up, Bianca looked out at where the sea met the sky. She had finally escaped this suffocating marriage, leaving the man she had loved for years firmly in the past.
She didn't feel as ecstatic as she had expected, but that didn't matter. What mattered was that a new chapter of her life was about to begin.
She could focus on living well with her baby and Mabel.
When Xanthe and the others finished surfing and came ashore, she noticed Bianca was in a particularly good mood. She whispered, "What's the good news?"
The chat was bombarded with gorgeous photos and gifts as the group lively headed out to dinner.
After dinner, they played Mafia. Milo noticed that despite Bianca's high IQ, she completely turned off her brain during games, relying purely on vibes.
She was the first one eliminated every single round.
Milo teased her, "Did you leave your brain on the beach?"
Bianca just smiled, having no intention of bantering with him.
Sometimes, her strict boundaries annoyed him. She only saw him as a friend.
He didn't get what was so great about that guy Mathis that she still felt the need to uphold her marital morals for him.
That bastard really had dumb luck.
They hung out until past ten before heading their separate ways.
Xanthe still stayed with Bianca. The moment the lights in the apartment flicked on, Mathis's phone notified him that she was home.
