Summary for Chapter 145: The Transactional Marriage That Imploded

Read The Transactional Marriage That Imploded novel Bianca and Mathis Chapter 145 by Ansel Bick

Bianca glanced at it and replied: [It's really hot in Austin City right now. He'd roast to death in a suit.]

Xanthe immediately fired back: [That homewrecker sure loves putting on a show. Mathis didn't even wear it for his birthday. If she knew Mathis gave you that house, she'd probably die of an aneurysm, wouldn't she?]

Cillian quietly chimed in: [I heard Aeterna Dynamics is planning to go public on the Harbor City Stock Exchange next March. Their valuation will be staggering.]

The baby gave Bianca another swift kick.

Bianca: [Whatever Mathis gives to other people has absolutely nothing to do with me.]

Mathis had made Bianca promise to keep the things he gave her a secret; only Xanthe knew.

Xanthe thought Mathis was nothing but a master juggler, playing both sides.

Milo felt it was an insult to Bianca: [How about I track his itinerary, and the next time he goes abroad on business, I hire a hit on him?]

Xanthe: [Great idea!]

Cillian frowned: [Please respect the law!]

Simon: [Mathis doesn't mess around with security when he's abroad. He values his life way too much.]

Hailey: [Mathis cheated, but he doesn't deserve to die. Bianca should just dump him already.]

Milo tagged Hailey: [If you defend him one more time, I'm kicking you out of the chat.]

The group chatted for a while longer. Bianca put her phone down and went to the music room to play her zither for a bit until her mind finally settled.

What she didn't know was that Mathis had installed hidden cameras in both the music room and the living room. He didn't put any in the bedroom, fearing someone else might stay over.

Bianca played the zither every single day, and Mathis listened through his phone every single day. That was the only way he could stop himself from disturbing her.

He was terrified that if he bothered her too much, she would block him again.

Her sheer ruthlessness was truly agonizing.

Two weeks later, Bianca gave a masterclass at Kingsbridge University.

Cynthia threw herself into his arms and cried for a long while, acting as though she had suffered some monumental injustice.

Mathis patiently comforted her, but it wasn't enough for Cynthia.

What right did Bianca have to possess anything of Mathis's?

She didn't deserve to give birth to his child.

A vicious glint flashed through Cynthia's eyes.

Mathis personally escorted Cynthia back home. Once she was settled, he turned to leave again. "I have clients to meet. Aeterna is expanding aggressively right now, and there's a lot to handle. Try to be understanding."

"Okay," Cynthia said softly. "Take care of yourself. We'll have breakfast together tomorrow."

"Alright!"

Mathis had been practically living with her lately, never once returning to the Begonia House.
